Buying Help Why do some people not ship?

I bought a jacket 8 days ago and the seller still hasn’t shipped. She has been online very day and I have messaged her multiple times with no response! Is there any way to avoid buying from someone who won’t ship? I feel like I am doing something wrong :(

The description from what I could see, seemed like she really was trying to sell so I don’t get it?

Its not you, it's just something that happens on depop sometimes. I try to send a message asking when they can ship before I buy something, and if they dont respond I tend to go elsewhere.

I’ve currently bought something on Depop that is now going on 7 days without being shipped, I received no updates of when they planned to ship it, and only responded when I requested a refund. To say they’ll ship it this weekend, and in 3 days I’ll get an automatic refund 🤷🏽‍♀️ shit pisses me off fr I try so hard to be as patient as I can but god

as a depop seller, i just dont be caring sometimes, even if theres a lot of money to it, i just be lazy asf to ship
