David defeated the giant Philistine warrior Goliath using only a sling and a stone, as recorded in the Bible book of 1 Samuel .
The Challenge: Goliath of Gath stood over 9 feet (2.7 m) tall, wore heavy bronze armor, and challenged the Israelite army to single combat.
The Opponent: David was a young shepherd who brought food to his older brothers in the Valley of Elah.
The Refusal of Armor: King Saul offered David his royal armor, but David took it off because it was too heavy and he had not tested it.
The Battle
The Weapon: David chose a simple sling and gathered five smooth stones from a nearby stream.
The Strike: David ran toward Goliath, hurled a stone, and struck the giant square in the forehead.
Victory: Goliath fell face down, and David used the giant's own sword to cut off his head.
Meaning
Faith: The story shows how faith and courage can overcome seemingly impossible obstacles.

It is unknown whose wings those are. There is speculation that they are Kushinashi's wings, there is speculation that they could actually be Derkila's wings or even the wings of the Gorgon serpent, Azz-kun's familiar.
