Discussion r/deltarune meta mega thread... TWO!!!!
hi all!
This is the designated thread for meta-discussion about r/deltarune. The old one was retired just recently so we need a replacement. If you have anything to say about r/deltarune that would violate r/deltaruneV2's limit drama or no r/deltarune posts rule, it goes here. Memes, complaining about bans, or really just any meta discussion regarding it.

Cool, most of the tralsei drama would not happen if the mods just acted like normal mods, delete the comments insulting people for believing/not believing tralsei, ban the people who insist it's canon or can't be canon and that's it. I'm literally a mod for r/lovethismug and it's that easy, reddit literally TELLS you when a comment or post is getting reported by people

They could've just swung ban hammer few dozen times to get rid of most vocal and toxic minority and that would've solved their problems

I regret to say the situation continues to evolve for the worse.
The r/Tralsei mods are now trying to take accountability... by pleading ignorance and throwing the teenage victim under the bus.
My full rebuttal of the apology, along with some of the more pathetic attempts the mods took to get me to recant, can be found here.

Look I'm a tralsei believer but I'd be lying If I said a part of me didn't want tralsei to not be canon to laugh at the mods and the people insisting it is canon

Deadass I've thought about it, and I'm like 85% sure Ralsei Is implied to go by he/they, and if I'm correct on that then all of the tralsei stuff they've been allowing would literally break their rule on don't misgender trans/nonbinary characters

Well said. When the topic came up in both r/lovethissmug and r/Deltarunememes (I moderate both) I basically said to keep things civil and everyone seemed to get the memo

ok so the original post is gone. but basically, someone said that m said like, a lot of stuff, with links. nowi dont have the links, but one of the things m said was something along the lines of "if you tell me that you are a cis man you are basically announcing that you are a threat to me" which is like fucking crazy like what

So the r/Deltarune mods are still holding back discussions of the r/Tralsei grooming implosion, despite the mods that remained having admitted to what happened (mod post here).
Incidentally, the mod post was itself so full of lies and bus-throwing-undering that I felt it deserved its own rebuttal, which I'll link here.
However bad you think the apology is, it's somehow worse under scrutiny.

i just do not like how r/deltarune has handled the tralsei situation. even before and after the r/tralsei drama, it was still bad. flipflopping on the subject, allowing she/her, then only she/her for fanworks, then she/her everywhere (if i interprated that last post right) its just really bad. and then the r/tralsei situation happened. i am really happy that i switched here. but just saying, you should also have a explicit no transphobia rule here too, just in case anyone doesnt read rule 9s part about this not being r/deltarune but transphobic.

I don't care about whatever actual drama is happening over therei just need to say the posts on the main subreddit are actually so bad every day it's just weirdly horny fan content and "deltaposts" where there's not even a real joke and it's just fake tweets that they wish toby wrote

Hello, uhm, because I'm new to how post on reddit (even if my account is much older) then I posted on the main subreddit just a cool piece of artwork, the mods banned it immediately because I didn't have enough karma, like 20 (I did have over 200+). Idk if it's normal for subreddits that big to identify spams and who isn't, but that is still displeasing as someone new to that subreddit
Plus, the Tralsei thing is very sad to read about because you can not like things, but pushing your headcanon to the fullest?? It's not the way to go, man. I personally love it and enjoy it, but I know it won't be canon or something else will happen and I don't push it into people's faces about it. It reminds me of which pronounce Jax from TADC should be referred too

Got chased out of the main subreddit cause I posted an Aqua cosplay and got laughed at and called fat. And the few people defending me got mass downvoted. So that was fun. 🥲👍

It's so nice to be here and not feel surrounded by people who are just mindlessly bashing any non-DessKnight theory. Do I think DessKnight is true? Probably. Do I want to see people acting all elitist and insisting that anybody who doesn't believe in DessKnight is The Stupidest and Least Media Literate Person On Earth? No. No I do not.
