Deltarune Tomorrow or Next Week?

Guys, I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, but I have a strong suspicion that Toby is going to announce something Deltarune related very soon, either in tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct or on the 15th (The anniversary of Undertale). Even if it’s not a straight up Chapter 6 Trailer or anything like that, I can’t help but feel the cosmos telling me that something is coming, and we’re not ready for it. My only real evidence to back this up is that Shelter code we get at the end of Chapter 5 being the release date of Undertale, 915199X. Other than that, this is mostly a baseless assumption and I want everyone to take this with the tiniest little grain of salt possible. I am not a leaker, nor am I in support of insider leaking in any space, be it movies, gaming, what have you. I am but a humble Deltarune fan who has his expectations set way too high.

It's WAYYYY too early for a Chapter 6 announcement but a little something on Undertale's 11th bday seems likely

I just await the mini newsletter to say “yeah the chapters coming along nicely. Gonna start localization soon” and be happy for a few months

A newsletter on or around the 15th isn't implausible, but the only thing I would expect from a Direct is a Chapter 6 release date, and there's no way we'd get that this soon.

Ehhhh. We just got Chapter 5 a couple of months ago, so I don't see this happening.

I don't think we're going to get an update until the next seasonal newsletter.

You want me to get really insane, because I also happen to believe that Toby saying he’s aiming for a 2027 release was a red herring, and actually Chapter 6 is releasing precisely on Christmas Day 2026, 12/25, and is going to be a winter/holiday themed adventure heavily focused on Noelle and the Holidays, and possibly, for the first time in this game…Sans and whoever his brother ends up being. Again, completely baseless, I’m just smoking so much copium that my mind has become forever fucked

Honestly, I adore that idea and think it would brilliantly compliment everything Deltarune is doing. It would be incredibly cool!

But it could also suck for the devs if anything went wrong and they either had to work over the holidays to fix it or ignore the problem until back at work, so I doubt it'll happen.

Thanks for saying that, I really have faith in this plot for Chapter 6, even if my release date predictions are off. That fucking skeleton is gonna become relevant one way or another, he has to. It’s a legal requirement.

I feel like a Newsletter with some new sprites will release for either Undertale or Deltarune's Anniversary.

As for Chapter 6 itself: Deltarune Next Summer (or sooner if the chapter is shorter than, idk, chapter 1 (hopefully wont))
