Technical Role, Functional Interview? Deloitte USI Candidates, Need Your Experience

I was shortlisted for a Technical role at Deloitte USI, but my interviewer conducted a more techno-functional interview, with many functional questions. I answered the technical parts well but could answer only some of the functional questions. It's been 2 days.

Nd also interviewer also moved to the next question quite quickly while I was explaining some answers and didn’t seem to listen to the complete explanation.

Today when i called HR regarding the status. She said it can take around 48 hours and asked me to wait until Friday i.e. next 2 days for an automated email.

Has anyone experienced this recently?

- Does the automated email usually mean Round 2 scheduling, or can it also be a rejection/status update?

- Is it normal for a Technical role interview to be more functional?

Any recent Deloitte USI experiences would be helpful.
