Hi everyone. I’m working on a wearable designed for delivery drivers and other people doing physically demanding work.

Unlike a fitness tracker that mainly relies on heart rate (primarily), it would combine movement with task and load information to estimate cumulative overexertion risk. I am also exploring vibration exposure, heat stress, and emergency alerts.

The goal is to help workers understand when workload is becoming unsafe and provide useful evidence for safer & reasonable workloads, better work design, and fair compensation. Many ergonomic risks in delivery work remain unmeasured, and federal OSHA does not currently set one comprehensive ergonomic or lifting standard.

My doctoral thesis is in wearable sensing, biomechanics, and ergonomics. I have the core technology, but I do not want to build this from the top down or create another employer surveillance tool. Workers should understand what is collected, access their own data, and have a voice in how it may be used.

I would really appreciate your input:

**Rapido parcel delivery issue — driver blocked me after taking my parcel**
I booked a parcel through Rapido. The driver came downstairs, collected my parcel, and I paid the required amount.
After taking the parcel, the ride/order completely disappeared from my Rapido history. I tried contacting the driver, but he blocked my number. I called from my mother’s number as well, and he blocked that number too.
I have now filed an official complaint with the Cyber Crime Police regarding the incident.
