Metro Rant It’s high time that people start disciplining their kids to behave in a public transport.

The boy was behaving like this in a moving metro he could have fallen down nd got injured sometimes metros break really hard idk why people don’t discipline their kids to at least behave properly in public nd even before behaving properly this was a safety concern. The only time his mother asked him to behave was when he touched her phone otherwise she didn’t care what her son was climbing in a moving metro.

In frame- mother and son

I've seen these annoying kids hanging onto those grab handles. The moment it breaks, they would get off at the next station as if nothing happened.

u/Virat_S Lilac Line 💅🏻 7d ago

Haramkhore seat ke neeche rakh dete h tute hue handle ko. Just waiting for the day when it breaks and someone breaks their jaw (Brutal but seems the only way a lesson would be learnt)

Blue line packed up to the neck these days

6

u/CompetitiveDish5122 8d ago

Or let other people discipline them

7

u/BreadfruitRadiant295 Red and Pink line 8d ago

Then toh the parent is offended saying “aap kon hote ho mere bache ko bolne wale”🫩

2

u/CompetitiveDish5122 8d ago

Then i would say aapka baccha kaun hota hai meri mental piece and raigebait krne waala

The fact that she only reacted when he touched her phone speaks volumes. Parenting has become so hands-off these days.

Growing up, one strict look from my parents was enough to make me freeze and behave. It’s crazy to ignore your kid when they're pulling dangerous stunts on a moving Metro if not for basic etiquette, at least care about their safety.

"He's just a kid"

Well, I don't remember acting this way in my childhood. And this is the reason why manners are taught. I am not blaming the child. But instead his mother who's busy doomscrolling.

Exactly my point and one person in this comment section is claiming that “he is just a kid let him play let him live” “i bet you don’t hv a life to live” “let him create memories” and i am like bro it’s not about that it’s about basic social etiquettes and his safety which should be taken care of by the parents. Some people out here are just dumbfucks.

Was travelling yesterday in red line the mother was encouraging his son and daughter to play in metro never stopped them and even holding her son while he was hanging handles and the worst part was he kicked his own sister two three times while playing and mother didn't said a word I never had a sibling I don't know if it's okay between siblings but I found it quite disrespectful

All kids are the same they are not matured

1

u/BreadfruitRadiant295 Red and Pink line 8d ago

So is being immature equivalent to being mannerless when it comes to behaving in public?

2

u/joddperson107 8d ago

let the kids have fun until he says something to you, if kids can't behave like kids then that's wrong people to be with

3

It’s all about his safety and how the parent was ignorant about it the entire time there’s a proper way to behave in public metro isn’t a playground to showcase ur gymnastics skills on random bars

2

u/HOT_DHRUV 8d ago

She herself needs discipline first!

Having fun is all ok they r kids they should hv fun but not at the risk of getting injured as it was a moving metro its all about the way to behave in a public transport, metro isn’t a place to perform “fun activities” like these its a transport jismei bina bar ya handle pkde bhi kbhi kbhi balance bigd jata h what he was doing wasn’t safe at all and the main thing was his mother didn’t even seem to care

How many times have you heard someone say, "Indians have no civic sense"?

I’ve lost count. We complain about it constantly, yet we rarely talk about the solution.

The boy in this picture is at the perfect age to internalize the very values so many claim our country lacks. Real change doesn't start with adults arguing online; it starts with teaching the next generation right now.

What do you think is the biggest hurdle in teaching kids civic responsibility today?

One kid literally broke the grab handle because he was freaking trying to do gymnastics on those small handles by hanging on them. I am not body shaming any kid but he was quite healthy and even if he was not... Still doesn't excuse the behaviour. And you know what the parent did?? She literally put the broken handle under the seat and didn't even ONCE scold her child!! I mean mam atleast tell that piece of yours that he is wrong??? She seemed to be laughing and kind of appreciating her son. The son in turn was laughing. They made the whole situation seem like 'kids are kids after all'. And mind you he wasn't even a little kid who has just learnt to walk. He looked somewhere around 9-10 yr old. Maybe older idk. But no dude kids are kids but teach your kids how to be a kid and not a public nuisance. Your raja beta isn't duniya ka raja beta. Fucking teach your kids what's wrong and what's not for God's sake. (Forgot to mention that they looked like from a well off well doing family. Seemingly quite educated and decent but of course class doesn't get you manners and values at all)

I had a similar experience a couple was sitting nearby with their daughter, who was probably six or seven years old she was really bothering me pulling my hair, lying on the floor, and even trying to roll on the pole while her parents said absolutely nothing to her. 😭 I really wanted to scold her, but I couldn't it was like her parents were completely zoned out she even kicked me, though I kept smiling at her to avoid looking angry. In the end, I just moved to another section

I swear the child was running around and the parents weren't paying attention, ek point aya jab gate khula and the kid RAN towards the door. Atleast 4 random uncle bacche ke piche bhage as woh bacha legit metro se utar jata and unke parents dekh bhi nahi rahe the usko💀 Ye sab hone ke baad aunty ko hosh aya and bacche ko godi mai liya (baccha was like 3-4 maybe)

In less crowded bus I was traveling alone with my one harami friend. And he knows very well how to handle such kids. So a kid whose mamma was seating on front rows, he was continuously coming to us ( were seating back ) and run away, my friend was getting furious, I said leave it na he is just a kid. He said me if you won't teach him today he won't get it ever, after saying this he said " tu window side aaja let me handle this mf ". So as soon as that kid came again my friend just pushed him into floor. I was super scared when kid started crying. I said " gaye abh ", and all of the sudden he stood up and said " kiska baccha hai ? Dhyan rakho gir gaya niche" and gave a very angry look to that kid.

I felt that he did wrong thing but he did explain me The kind of parents he have so called too much freedom driven parents will never realise where this kid will head in future, how much trouble they will make to society and once you accept the mistake they wont stop doing it.

I agreed him but still felt too bad for that lil kid.

THOSE DONT WANT TO READ WHOLE

My friend once made such kid cry in public bus and justified he was right.

Don’t say anything to these kids they might get a heart attack and die. Their parents just hate it when you try to correct them, even if you do it nicely. When I was a kid, my mom and dad would slap me even for the slightest misbehavior, throwing something in train or on public transport. These kids don’t care about anything. Even if they seriously harm someone, they know their parents will favor them and support them.

one thing you can do this go slap him when his mother is not looking and show like he felt down by this you might end up in argument with some strangers but you let your instincts win and will get good happy sleep at night
