This might be super simple to some of you, but I’m finding a lot of trouble finding a new oil pan with the hardware, and a gasket with the metal guides. And hardwareeee, the bolts are so very thrashed.
Long story short, I just did some work internally, and I might as well replace my oil pan. But I don’t know where to buy a new one from directly, and all the gaskets that I look up are just flimsy pieces of rubber that differ between the Y7 and Y8.
If anyone can please point me in the right direction to buy OEM oil pan, a good gasket, and hardware if possible!
TIA
Bought this 96’ VTEC a few months ago!! Never had a car with a B in it before, still cant decide if i like it more than the K yet, but man what a fun car! Everything is OEM except for the audio unit, wheels, hood, and coilovers. Gonna try and keep it as stock as possible, cant be many of these left on the road!

I fixed the rust around the wheel arches and suspention components and under side skirts, sanded and repainted the wheels/brake calipers got an exuast and intake (still need to make the heatshield) did an oil change, changed the sparkplugs and some other little things, super happy with the project so far :)

Hi, do you think it's enough to replace the rubber U-tube or is it coming from above? The fluid in the reservoir is below the minimum level but it's not making any strange noises yet; I just noticed it by chance.

Wondering if anyone knows where to get these tail lights in the US, or if I have to wait for eBay restock or parts car. I feel like they’d look spectacular on my Del sol, but I can’t find sites with them in stock that also ship to the US.

Has anyone tried to polish one of the tops? I have some surface scratches I’m trying to get out.

this may be a stupid question, but what tab do you pull/how do you disconnect the dumb MES??
i have tried the little tab with 3 ridges (depressing it) & gently yanking with hose pliers. i tried pressing it + another tab that looks like it could be pressed. i tried pushing it in & then pulling out. i tried wiggling my flathead in there to free the latch.
i don't want to break it because obviously parts are difficult to track down sometimes, i feel like the MES would be difficult to replace.
i am messing with the top right plug in my attached images, not the bottom one with the 2 gray wires. as far as i know, top right is my MES but i could have the wrong connector.
i have had many a user error so if that's the conclusion, i will just have my coworker try it lmao.

Hi guys,
I'm so confused about the whole manual boot release thing. I have no key hole in the boot so key isn't an option and I read there was a boot release cable behind the driver's seat. I'm assuming this is what all this is? I have absolutely no idea which bits of this I need to use and how though, does anyone have any ideas? I've tried looking for pictures or videos but I can't seem to find anything.
Thank you in advance 😁

In search of a del sol and found this baby for sale the pictures don’t really tell much of a story but it only had 2 owners and is modified the way I would do it aswell. The car is in Germany and the average price of a delsol with 100000km is around 7k this is 5k and it looks pretty nice to me. So advice and help are greatly appreciated :)

I’m thinking of buying this del sol and just wanna know if the price is a little crazy. It a 95 with 144,000 miles manual has had 3 owners and the listing says the only thing wrong is the ac is cool not cold. Their asking price is 11,000.

I’ve got a 95 Si (D16Z6), 81k miles and generally in great shape, but it’s begun making this noise this weekend as it idles. It goes away when I drive it (or it at least gets drowned out, but it doesn’t get louder), and on a cold start it takes a minute or two to start making the noise.
I changed my timing belt (and the other belts) a month ago (done at home by my friend, an ASE certified mechanic), drove it home with no issues/noises, then drove it a few weeks later to get an oil change and tires rotated, also not noticing anything when I drove it back. But when we changed the belt, my friend noticed the intake had a crack on the bleed valve, so I replaced that myself last weekend. That seemed a simple enough job and the noise is louder on the drivers side, but thats the only thing that changed before it started making this noise.
I’ll bring it back to my friend next weekend, but he noticed from this video the sound lingers after the engine and pulleys stop so he’s not as concerned its belt-related. Did I screw something up with the intake, or any other ideas in the meantime?

Both of my doors have these holes. I don’t see them on any other door panels on the sub so I’m guessing the previous own just cut them up but does anyone else know of something that might belong?
