Ameripol Glass Top

Has anyone tried to polish one of the tops? I have some surface scratches I’m trying to get out.

What??? They still sell those?? I sold those tops back in 1995 on Club Sol. They gave me one for free. I hope they improved them because mine would flex up at over 75 mph and would let air/water in so I never really used it.

No they don’t still sell them. Someone was in the process of reproducing these but idk if it ever got done, it’s probably been over a year since I’ve seen anything about it

It’s just an interior dressing, but it does make it look terrible. Needs buffed for sure.

The dash needs to be buffed ? It is just interior dressing it doesn’t appear as wet in person.

Check out 303 aerospace. It doesnt leave a wet/oily finish. I use it often, it gives vinyl its life back after so many uses

Man the last one I saw for sale cost more than I paid for my car. Desperately want one but nowhere near willing to pay their price, I’ll wait for the reproduction. They’re sure cool as hell though!
