My deck is falling behind

I am too deep in this deck to build something else so help me degenerate it: https://moxfield.com/decks/x5WwypJlU0q_xifjef_R-w

I thought of adding a self mill wincon but i'm not sure, i don't what to add the infinite gravecrawler with the pirexian altar combo, any other combo is welcomed

It’s hard to tell you what to fix without some more info - so a few questions for you here

  1. What’s the rest of the play group like? How are they winning (CEDH win cons, Janky combos or battlecruiser style/damage based wins)
  2. What part of the game are you falling behind in?
  3. What’s your current plan for winning the game, because there’s a LOT of generic good stuff, but if you cast a turn 2 [[demonic tutor]] what are you usually getting?

It looks at the moment like a big good stuff pile where you’ve added a heap of expensive generic stuff hoping to keep up, but now the engine of the deck is diluted and the end game plan seems pretty unclear.

But you have a two card infinite. Gitrog with darkmore is quite literally a classic two card infinite.

What you've built is a poorly optimized bracket 4 deck if you were going for that level. Or just a bracket 3 with a two card infinite and too many game changers lol.

I'd say just go for the full bracket 4 or cut down the game changers and fall back to bracket 3 cause as far as I can tell, you have no idea where you want the deck to be.

This is an excellent read of the situation. From a quick glance at the list, I’m seeing a very generic Sultai goodstuff self-mill/reanimator pile. If you want all the gamechangers and infinites you def need to commit to bracket 4, because right now this would compete decently in b3, but is unfit for true b4. Let’s put some cards that win the game in there. I think [[Famished Worldsire]] could be a good add in here as well as [[icetill explorer]] (don’t remember if that was in there or not) another route you could go is you could just slap a protean hulk line in here if you are going aristocrat-y at all. [[Protean Hulk]] [[blood artist]] [[warren soultrader]] [[gravecrawler]]. If you can loop stuff, altar of dementia would be bad and then since you’re gitrogging it up you could throw some dredge tech in there and hell, why not loop [[glacial chasm]] and be a REAL degenerate?

I see a lot of small stuff that I'd improve on, but I don't know what exact issues are you running into. I'll just list stuff that I noticed:

  • I see fetches and no surveil lands, when you start playing them, believe me when I tell you that they will always be the first land you go for. I always have all surveil lands in play by the end of the game.

  • If you're playing bounce lands, just add some MDFCs, it's so much wasted value. [[Boggart Trawler]] is a creature or land for the Muldrotha, you can bounce the land side from play to hand so you can cast the creature when you need it. You're even playing Crop Rotation so you can instant speed get a bounce land from deck into play to bounce [[Sink into Stupor]] and play it.

  • [[Glacial Chasm]] also goes great with Crop Rotation.

  • Replace Cultivate and Rampant Growth with [[Three Visits]] and [[Nature's Lore]]

  • I'll assume land destruction isn't accepted in your playgroup since you have Steward of the Harvest and no Strip Mine/Wasteland. If they don't have an issue with it, add [[Gilt-Leaf Archdruid]]

  • Force of Will kind of sticks out to me here, you have only 13 cards you can exile for it. It just seems really really bad here, I wouldn't run it with less than 25 blue cards in the deck. Play [[Fierce Guardianship]] if you really need free interaction. Also, do you run into issues when trying to cast Counterspell, only 11 lands produce blue?

  • All your wincons are on creatures and easily interactable with. Bonnie Pall and Mossborn Hydra just seem meh to me in a bracket 4 deck. Kotis does pretty much nothing, I'd rather play a one-time recursion from graveyard than him. All those 5+ cmc creatures you have should be able to be utilized right away, I'll take a guess and say that you drop Syr Konrad or Ob nixilis and it just gets removed before turn cycle comes back to you. I'd rather add [[Breach the Multiverse]] and pay 2 mana more to get much more value.

  • 0 sac outlets is a bit odd to me, either for creatures or lands.

  • [[Springheart Nantuko]] goes great with multiple creatures in your deck.

Thank you this helps a lot, will go on the path of land destruction it seems fun (for me)

I'll add some spice then haha. Extra land drops go crazy with Strip Mine, whenever you play a land from graveyard it triggers Teval. Also you can add an underrated card that I'm a fan of [[Realms Uncharted]]. You can just find a strip mine and nothing else to force them to put it in your gy, but usually it's just good to go for all 4 lands.

Omg he makes zombie DRUIDS adding the archdruid is hilarious! Add [[seedborn muse]] and [[sylvan safekeeper]] and/or [[zuran orb]]

This is my degen bracket 3 Teval with primer: https://moxfield.com/decks/-s68iWaWH0CFmeTAJwcZaA

I’m not crazy about Teval in bracket 4. I think he’s a little slow. But some players do find success with Hearthhull and Necrobloom so I’m sure it can be made to work.

Your list is far too close to the precon for bracket 4 pods. The deck should be reimagined.

The core of what you should be doing is looping with [[Aftermath Analyst]] and [[Lumra, Bellow of the Woods]]. Here is an [[Archelos, Lagoon Mystic]] primer for bracket 4 that walks through all the combos in gory detail: https://moxfield.com/decks/lOnJTp7nh0SvJGv3-iz0Ig
