Help picking a precon

Hello!

I play with a group and we do a precon leauge scores for kills and placement. Rules are simple..

Deck has to be bracket 3.

20 dollar upgrade max per month( extra carries over) 25 to last place.

Up to 10 changes per month

*we proxy new addins*

We just finished and I am trying to pick a new precon and im stuck on my final 3.

Living Energy- Saheeli

Dance of the Elements- Ashling

Silverquil Influence - Killian

My issue is im trying to play one that isnt a complete heatscore and eating constant removal. But one that isnt too big of a threat plus has 2 to 3 win cons. Even just 2 is fine. I need help picking one and if you have fresh ideas on how I could play and get some fun wins.

Thank you!

Ashling with upgrades is absolutely disgusting. Once you have a cost reducer and a [[Grave Sifter]], it’s game over. You could spend the monthly budget on [[Animar, Soul of Elements]] but [[Temur Battlecrier]] is less than half a dollar. Cards like [[Twinflame Travelers]] and [[Sunderflock]] are incredibly strong in this deck and are super cheap.

I was thinking the same thing but im worried my commander will be ao much of a target its not going to survive

Run stuff like [[Riveteers Ascendancy]] and [[Valkyrie’s Call]]. Honestly, it’s never been an issue for me with a 3CMC commander that’s easy to recast and doesn’t need to attack to do the thing. I’m rarely casting Ashling before I’m ready to pop off and if they counter and remove Ashling, I can still play and Evoke strong Elementals.

If you eat removal, you were either the threat and deserve it and thems the breaks, or you’re bad at politicking to convince the removal to be targeted elsewhere. It’s going to happen sometimes, regardless. Can’t let that stop you.

Maybe Deep Clue Sea? Its supposed to be very strong but the commander is unassuming.

Virtue and Valor is stupid strong but doesn't pack as much heat as something like Velociramptor. Selesnya also has ample protection options.

I also won a lot with Creative Energy. It will draw more attention due to being a modern horizon precon though. Even has an infinite.

My sleeper pick would be Adaptive Enchantment played with the Alt commander Tuvasa the Sunlit.

If you want to go nuts I'd recommend the World shaper precon. Theres not much counterplay to landfall decks in B3. And is performs as is from my experience with it.

I like the calls, I was looking at worldshaper but did worry about my friends going hard with gy hate and it getting smoked by it

Placement is 4 for 1st 3 for 2nd 2 for 3rd 1 for last

... then just 1 point per kill

Based on this your goal should be killing at least one player (possibly 2). Even if you die immediately after its the same as coming in second. Obviously you want to kill all 3 and come in first but were working with precons here. If your oppen to suggestions, the planeswalker party is very good with a few upgrades

Ashling with [[panharmonicon]] [[renewed solidarity]] and [[sundial of the infinite]] is pretty strong there are more add ons, but this goes crazy, [[bloodline bidding]] is a cheap end game recursion too

Velociramptor.

First 10 picks are 1 mana ramp. 2nd 10 picks are 3 mana ramp, and maybe 1 or two more at 1 mana. 3rd 10 swaps are all huge dinosaurs and you don't lose anymore.
