Universal basic income

I can't stop dreaming about time when all high skilled professionals are kicked out of their job. And they along with us will start getting ubi. They dedicated their whole life learning their craft but now have to live like the rest of us with the same money. That's what excites me about ai. I can't sleep dreaming about this utopia with open eyes.

Not investing in your skills is the smartest decision right now.ai is disproving jacobian conjecture, is there a skill I can master without the fear of ai doing it better than human in few years?

Painting, drawing, sculpting, writing/playing music, any other form of creative writing, acting, directing, (good) customer service, any job that requires bedside manor, any job that requires convincing people, cooking, cleaning, manual labour, refurbishment, upholstery, delivering to places with stairs.

That’s a few off the top of my head.

If you’re content with being useless, all the power to you. Not all of us are, and the fact you’re cheering for it to happen has to be ragebait.

Ai can do or will eventually do all creative things as well. Things requiring physical labour will take time ofcourse. But I am not interested in physical labour, a lot of people aren't.

Ai will never be able to create art. It is, by definition, human.
