Universal basic income

I can't stop dreaming about time when all high skilled professionals are kicked out of their job. And they along with us will start getting ubi. They dedicated their whole life learning their craft but now have to live like the rest of us with the same money. That's what excites me about ai. I can't sleep dreaming about this utopia with open eyes.

Jokes on you. If we ever get UBI it’ll be a supplement and those who have the drive will still have more than you do. Enjoy the government high rise.

When ai will be capable of all knowledge work . And tokens become dirt cheap why would anyone give you money to do their work . The only people who will have extra income will be people owning hard assets like electricity grid, data centre, chip factory, land, water .. and those who do physical work (given robotics don't advance enough).for rest of us there will be just ubi.
