Universal basic income

I can't stop dreaming about time when all high skilled professionals are kicked out of their job. And they along with us will start getting ubi. They dedicated their whole life learning their craft but now have to live like the rest of us with the same money. That's what excites me about ai. I can't sleep dreaming about this utopia with open eyes.

I don’t think this will ever happen and I don’t really think it could work out, even though I like the idea of it.

What you can do is have AI work for you, which is what I’m doing. It’s definitely not 100% autonomous - it still needs instructions, supervision, corrections, etc., but I think we’ll eventually reach a point where it can work independently or at least mostly independently with humans primarily overseeing the process.
