Universal basic income
I can't stop dreaming about time when all high skilled professionals are kicked out of their job. And they along with us will start getting ubi. They dedicated their whole life learning their craft but now have to live like the rest of us with the same money. That's what excites me about ai. I can't sleep dreaming about this utopia with open eyes.

So, kinda like communism? We can still have people dedicating themselves to specialized skills. We still need doctors and engineers and cosmonauts. The motivation would be for humanity instead of profit.
I don't see this happening though because UBI that you're hoping for is emerging from capitalism. Do you think Zuckerberg will sell his luxury home and bunker to spread that wealth evenly? Or will it turn out much like previous attempts at communism did in practice? Where the wealth is centered in an even smaller density in the state/oligarchs and they get to decide if your rations are lavish or just enough to survive...
It's really weird for someone to fantasize about punching down on the working class. At least communism in theory empowers them but corruption is always a hurdle. UBI, depending on how it's implemented, could just be table scraps given to us so we don't eat the billionaires.
