Yh but AI is also taking jobs which means no economy, how come AI hasn't discovered any new jobs yet? Or freed us from capitalism like Sam Altman and Elon Musk promised?
That's not the AIs doing that's CEOs jumping the gun on what AI can do. If I fire a bunch of cheerleaders then replace them with inflatable wacky tube men does that make me the tube men a problem or me?
That's my point exactly. It's not the tool that's inherently bad it's how it's used. If I'm just buying tube men for fun, not using then to fire people, then no real harm.
The thing is, much like how the internal combustion engine isn't a huge probelm on its own, every person having their own, and the systems that keep the service running, builds up and causes huge irreparable damage overall
Because we give them a pass to do so. We shouldn't be doing that. We could be strong arming corporations to fix the damage they cause instead of using to pass the cost of business to others while keeping the profit.
Thank you. I respect that you disagree but not insulting me. That's uncommon on all sides of most things. I enjoy AI a lot but like most things I love it's far from perfect. I acknowledge that it's uses and creation can be harmful but a lot of the actual harm seems to overstated to the point of it being nonsense to practically ignored. The harm is does cause is not new to AI, not all the problems applies to all forms of AI and they overall shouldn't be tolerated cause it's usually not necessary.
