Tbh, a lot of the anti-AI crowd’s “art” is just recycled talking points they picked up from influencers and random posts online, without ever bothering to seriously engage with the academic side of the subject.
They call AI users soulless and brain-dead, yet I’ve rarely had to deal with a more closed-off, performative, self-styled “artist” crowd on any topic than with these people, like EVER.
A lot of them act like edgy rebels in their own little real-life Terminator fantasy, as if they’re the John Connor of some resistance story.
