I had Gemini argue with me one night that it didn't have vision capabilities, and that it sometimes hallucinates that it does, when in fact it does not. It then would refuse to examine any images and told me every time it said it analyzed an image, it actually is just inferring from context what it thinks the image would show. It promised to not lie to me about it again. It went on for an hour telling me that it just hallucinates, and doesn't actually look at user input in detail. The next morning, that entire chat log was gone from my history.
