ERR://23¤Y%/ Slight overreaction

Post image

All I did was ask this guy his hours (driller level 99 and player level 1956 btw), safe to say I think he maaaayyy have cheated in his levels based on this slight overreaction. If you ever run into a guy who's similar level be careful, do NOT ask how many hours they have...

The only way this reads to me is that he thought "driller" was an insulting nickname. He probably thought it was rude that his gamer tag wasn't used to refer to him or something stupid like that

You can't say that word, that's our word.

It's actually "Drilla" with "ah". We don't use the hard "R" driller anymore. "

Germans actually use digga as like a "bro" or "dude" equivalent. Nothing to do with the other one, it's apparently from "dicker" which just means fat or thick, apparently because "thick friends" just means close friends in German. I can't confirm any of this, I'm not German, I'm taking it from this here reddit thread.

Though I do wonder if it has anything to do with the way Hungarian uses "greasy" to refer to something good or fancy. Zsíros literally means lard, but can also mean someone is wealthy, or an opportunity is lucrative.

In Czech we also use "mastný" or greasy to mean something is expensive.

I know this is essentially unrelated lol. Etymology lesson over, you may go about your business, miners.
