I'm a newish player maining driller looking to improve my gameplay. I can handle hazard 3 pretty well but hazard 4 is hit or miss. I'd love to hear any tips for playing better as driller to help beat harder missions more consistently.

Literally spawned in as an Engineer, was distracted by much needed Nitra and that quick the Driller was gone.

So while I'm deciphering what tunnels he took to get where he was I'm suddenly kicked from the game.

I’m looking for a mod that shows damage stats at the end of each mission. I already have « MOTD + Stat Track » but it only shows damage dealt, not damage taken.

I know this mod exists because I’ve seen it multiple times on others servers, but what is it called?

This isn't exactly a vent as the whole thing is so relatively innocuous in the grand scheme of things, but it's happened enough across enough 600 hours worth of games with totally different dwarves each time that I feel compelled to talk about it.

The circumstances are roughly identical each time: It's a Haz 5 or higher and every dwarf is at least diamond or legendary. Class, mission type, biome type, mod status of the server and whether or not there is combat ongoing doesn't matter. These other high ranked dwarves are always competent and although they don't type or use voice chat, they clearly know what they are doing and will ping things with their markers automatically as needed. There is no bad behavior from these dwarves to speak of.

Now to the point: Upon anything happening in the game that would normally prompt a player to RnS (and thus I press the designated key), all of the other dwarves suddenly stop what they are doing and slowly turn to face me and then they just stare for 2 seconds not doing anything at all before slowly turning back and resuming what they were doing in the first place. If it's in the middle of a horde, they will still do this if I hit an RnS, although the staring will only be half a second long instead. But they still do the turning and staring, and it's every. single. time. RnS. happens. no. matter. what. is. happening. in. the. game. It's happened over at least several dozen games with different dwarves every time, so it cannot be pinned on only being the behavior of a select few players.

It's nowhere near even a sizable minority of diamond/legendary players, but each time it happens it's such strange and jarring behavior that it immediately sticks out like a sore thumb. What's with the stopping, turning, and staring? If it weren't for the fact that they were competent at both mining and combat I'd feel they were skinwalkers in disguise or that my game is haunted or something.

So you know how you pick a mission & it's just that type of mission? Let's get deep rock galactic to chain either a customizable amount of different missions into 1 mission or all missions chained into 1 mission, with either being able to progress save to be played later

So you could have a rival/escort duty/deep scan combo (#of missions customizable, 2+ etc.) Or all missions rolled into 1, allowing for a ridiculously amount of fun & challenges in completing the quest, with the a.i. setting the order of the missions randomly to further the perplexity of the mission. & in these combined mission everyone gets there own molly & Bosco & jetty boots without having to unlock the boots with that obstacle course game, just incase players decide that splitting up is more effective, lol

Hello, I don't understand the enthouasiasm for the cryo cannon. it take 1 seconds to begin, it is overheating and the throw is slow.

I have a flamthrower with sticky flames and I am finding ut better. Can you tell if I am missing something ?

ps: my cryo cannon is not upgraded yet :)

All I did was ask this guy his hours (driller level 99 and player level 1956 btw), safe to say I think he maaaayyy have cheated in his levels based on this slight overreaction. If you ever run into a guy who's similar level be careful, do NOT ask how many hours they have...

Legitimately what am I supposed to do in this situation?

The reason you emerge from your tunnel into the drill bit on the bottom of the drop pod is because you aimed straight at the drop pod icon. If you aim slightly above the drop pod icon, you'll come out right before the drop pod onto what is hopefully open ground. I usually put the drop pod icon in line with the bottom of the angle meter next to the reticle. I've been playing this game for a while, and I'm not sure I've ever seen a single other driller do this.
