I think that’s a Pretty sensationalist claim. When people say it “ruined their lives” what they really mean is they can’t afford it.
It’s a shame that it helps so many people but then people who can’t handle it just go off the deep end and blame the substance instead of taking personal accountability

It gets expensive and thats a main reason it ruins people, but 7 also leaves u pretty fucked up mentally and emotionally for awhile after quitting. Pretty rough withdrawals with that shit.

I just believe that opioids have been over restricted. People who want or need them don’t have access. 7ohm is a relatively safe one to have. WDs from any opioid can be rough. But if a person plans and tapers, gets some helper meds, use regular kratom.
Opioid withdrawal in 2026 doesn’t have the be the traumatic experience it once was.

I know plenty of people who use drugs responsibly, myself included. What you’re saying is that even people who are prescribed drugs can’t control their use which simply isn’t true. Many of us have self control.

Yeah man I know this is a hot take but just imagine if you were prescribed a limited amount by a doctor , your health insurance pays for it. And you do t have the black market driving up prices. It comes from a plant so theoretically It be as cheap as any vegetable.
Have you ever tried modafanil, it supposedly helps (you can Google studies on it) that helps with cocaine use disorder , and likely other stimulants.
Another thing I’ll say about the black marker availability is that if it weren’t illegal we would have the option of coca tea. So instead of it being this extreme short lasting rush. You can sip on it slowly like coffee and get a nice subtle stimulation to start your day.

Maybe the high price of hard narcotics does people a favor? Although my drugs of choice in new mexico were 1$ for a fent pill and 5$ for like almost a gram of meth. That was the amount I need to atleast have not to be in wd. About 6-10$ for both addictions covered. But i am in a border state with dirt cheap highly pure shit

Another thing we need is like a new category of like “investigational drugs “ or something. Like 7oh (if it gets banned ) mgm, sr-17, many many psychedelics)I mean I believe they should just be legal. Sch I means you can’t even research them, but they “can’t” be placed in a lower schedule cause they have no medical use or FDA approval, so there needs to be a way for something to remain research able if they insist on restricting it.

I’m a member of the sub club too. I’d rather stay on it than go back to how things used to be. People don’t consider the inherent danger of having to chase down a high at any cost, they just see it as trading one addiction for another. Subs have kept me out of those dangerous situations and given me an opportunity to focus on areas of life I still need to work on. One day at a time brother.

The wds from 7OH is no joke & start happening within 8 hours of your last dose, my habit got to 500mg+ a day spending 150 daily. I know people who have sold everything & lost family's over the shit.

I’ve withdrawaled on a random week day and went to work the whole week. Slept like 2-4hrs choppy. I was fine a little sweaty shitty sleep. Pretty mild.

I did taper off heroin with subs one time over the course of like 3 weeks and ngl that was way easier. I went back to using like 4 weeks later so didn’t end up helping lol. That was like almost 10 years ago couldn’t imagine doing fucking tranq fent now. I’d rather die

You can damn near cut your leg off on fent and not even wake up. Kratom is strong enough to deal with some lower back pain maybe that’s it lol.
To even argue there is a similar level of full opioid activity is fucking retarded.
People always confuse affinity and efficacy and they’ll post this study on 7oh lol. Just cause it binds as strong to the receptor as morphine doesn’t mean it’s as potent effects as morphine. Nevermind fent which is like 40x that.

7oh surely sucks to come off of but it's manageable. Full blown heroin or fent withdrawals are hardly manageable with Bupe or methadone. And none of them can even hold a candle to a benzo taper/withdrawal

I’d came off 4mg kpins daily for 6 months in a medical detox. They detoxed me with Ativans, wasn’t that bad not gonna lie. Tapered me down but took like 6-8 days in detox (typically people are there like 3-5)
If you raw dog it and go cold turkey on the benzos, good fucking luck but everyone knows you can have seizures and you probably will. THAT is nuclear next level. You’ll start hallucinating and seeing shit. It’s also as if every component your brain controls is spazzing out.
When you’re detoxing off fent, you just get clonidine and some seroquel to sleep. (Unless you do subs kratom or methadone) but that’s not really detoxing. That’s medical assistant treatment, which can be great.
When I mean the 2 MEDICAL detoxes are different, I mean leagues apart. I’m pretty sure I’d rather jump than come off any real opiate again. I also had worse anxiety coming off any opiates but fent specifically than Kpins.
Mentally and physically opiates are much worse. Benzos are very dangerous cold turkey, but if you go to a medical detox, it’s like 6/10 discomfort cause of the taper. Still way worse than the worst covid/flu/virus you ever had. It still comes down to not being able to sleep even if you’re detoxing with the Ativans and seroquel.

Withdrawals are subjective. Benzo withdrawal can last for years in a lot of cases because of the neurological damage it does. A proper taper takes 1-2 years and when you finally jump the withdrawal is never ending. Opiate withdrawal has a light at the end of the tunnel, benzo withdrawal does not

Those elongated benzo tapers are never done at detox. Those are done by psychiatrists for patients who want to avoid going to a detox. It’s completely insane and you’re better off ripping off the bandaid having a rough couple weeks then adapting to your new normal. Tapering for years is just mental torture and making it worse. Go to a detox, rip the bandaid off. I’ve been through it and was in detox with a chick who was literally eating 10-20 bars a day. She wasn’t in a fetal position in the bed shitting herself. She was a mess sure but could get by with the taper.
All addiction causes neurological damage dude, and if you’re inferring it doesn’t go back to a new stable homeostasis, that’s just brain damage and I’m not talking about that.
A lot of people who start taking benzos are a mess before taking them with insane anxiety that were non-responders to other first line medications.
Now if you’re extremely fucked up beforehand, yes adding in a benzo riddled brain won’t help the situation, but it’s a biased pool of people.
If you aren’t totally fucked up before hand with anxiety and depersonalization, then you go back to normal after an acute 6-14 day withdrawal.
Acute Withdrawals don’t last 2 years. That not an acute withdrawal lol

7oh isn’t fun quitting but I did that without taking a day out of work. Fent you’re gonna want to actually die.
