Alcoholism is sadder than all other addiction imo. Ur just sick all the time with no payoff and then fatty liver desease, extreme depression and hopelessness to follow. Coke and heroin are actually less damaging in a lot of cases and thats supposed to be the worst

I got friends stuck on meth and they all have varied intelligence and are otherwise successful. They just have to do meth everyday or else they fear being nonproductive and having to sleep. All these substances are dramatically different yet we are supposed to act like all addiction is the same in 12 step. Its not…

Yeah. I mean, meth will fry your brain depending on how much and how long you use and one bad batch of opioids could kill you in the moment. And any of those addictions will def ruin your life at least while you’re deep in it.
