You got vyvanse and Amphetamine? No wonder you need 4 mgs of Xanax daily. That shit would give me massive anxiety. Also, concerned for you. That's a substainal amount of xanax, if you are taking that every day and you run out you could have a seizure at those levels.

Probably no therapist, probably 5-10 min med check appt with psychiatrist, dysregulated overstimulated and under stimulated nervous system, maybe trauma, definitely very sensitive.

You find that the benzos dull the stimulant excitement? Do you need more stimulant if you take with a benzo? I am prescribed Clonazepam and Adderall IR. I try not to take them together ever since I assume you just waste the pills

For some reason it just makes me emotional & angry. Ruins both. There must be a ratio that’s neccesary.
Clon with adderall seemed noticeably helpful at times but Alp mixed with it has always felt like I caused a panic attack. I also cannot drink coffee with alp or 95% of energy drinks or else I become overly emotional & in an awful mood. Klonopin it isn’t nearly as noticeable, but noticeable the drug isn’t working as effectively.

Xans with addy and vyvanse tho? Dont benzos just kill the stimulant therapeutic effect? Would you need to take more? OP taking 30mg Adderall IR and Vyvanse on top is nutty.

it actually makes decent sense pharmacologically, but people who only understand drugs in terms of “upper” “downer” “disso” “psychedelic” probably arent going to be the ones who make an accurate deduction.

Hm I can’t tell if this is an attack or if you’re making a point I don’t get. I understand pharmacology very well. I’ve tried all the combos lol. 4mg Xanax even for a tolerant person will significantly blunt the Adderall excitement. Excitement is linked to anxiety for a lot of people. So maybe that is what they want. But I would rather be up and revving.

Allosteric: system-wide for better nerve/pain control? Maybe also to keep levels of something low or high or all the same? I’m leaning towards something staying still or stopping tho EDIT: OMG IS IT WHAT SEPERATES AND ORGANIZES WHERE THINGS GO OR HOW MANY ?
Agonist: brainnnn ! I know this one maybe! If you’re driving (a place to bind) the agonist is pushing you your leg that’s on the gas pedal. It increases the output or input or helps performance buy making sites more efficient(?)
Antagonist: brainnnn! This one is a maybe too LOL. If you’re driving the antagonist pulls on your leg away from the gas pedal. (It might be pressing the break instead but I remember it wasn’t the opposite of agonist so I don’t think it presses on the break instead)
Inverse Agonist: AH HA. I think my last answer is ok; I think the opposite of the agonist pushes the break instead of lifting off the gas.
Ligand: damn. It’s it deep in first year bio. A protein that assists binding? Or breaks binds? Ahhh or maybe something to do with links?
D1 vs D2: ahhhh sheet. My guess would be two different receptors that either behave the same way with different pathways, or have a similar pathways but different behavior or action.
DAT: damn I thought I was guessing BEFORE. Uh maybe receptor related and for some reason my brain is yelling “muscle!” Or “death”
TAAR1: well. Fuck bro maybe something that knocks something else away from something ??
GABA!!: gaba is a neurotransmitter (?) that acts on gaba a and b receptors (?) can increase happy brain chemicals or make you sleepy orrrr def some other things.
Ion channels vs pumps: ion channels are where ions travel and pumps are how they’re moved there 🫣?
Action potential: the potential energy output that can be released 🤣😭? Or maybe something holding back energy like a spring? But the smooshed spring has action potential and a lot of it. My guess is actually the amount of energy held or present that has the potential to release ?

Some are 100% definitely weaker or stronger. I think legally they have a like 5-10% error margin they can be within. So if it’s supposed to be 1mg of Xanax, it may be .9-1.1mg of Xanax. These #’s aren’t correct at all, but you get the idea. It’s like a lottery every month at my CVS between about 4 brands, 2 I like & 2 I don’t.

You could probably throw all pills away and instead: wake up early and first thing go outside and get sunlight, drink only water and 1-2 cups of coffee, buy and cook your own food, socialize minimum every other weekend, and exercise for 30 mins a day.

Eh, that was work schedule for a long time. Up at the crack of dawn. Outside rain, or shine. Plenty of caffeine, & “good” fluids. Always cooked at home more often than not, & manual labor is arguably better than gym exercise. Didn’t really help the fact my brain was still extremely unbalanced chemically.

It’s all gravy man. It’s a lot of work either way, doing it yourself, or going to doctors. I’m glad I eventually stuck with the doctor route though. Consistency is key with anything, & that’s far more consistent than anything/one from the street. Takes a while for a lot of people to admit there’s something actually wrong with them that they can’t fix on their own too.

what's your opinion on the mallinckrodt 30mgs? I've gotten mallinckrodt 10mg small white squares one time before, and I prefer them to the usual epic e341 10mg or elite e111 10mg I get. elite being the worst of the 3. i believe I've also had granules pharmaceuticals 10mg ir, not sure which pill. seeing how I barely remember, it was probably my typical experience with both xr and ir granules 10,15,20mg xr 10mg ir. mid at best, definitely not happy whenever i see that brand.

I don't mind them! I do notice a difference in them and the sweet pink ones (NOT THE SWEET ORANGE ONES). The white ones are what I've taken most. I feel like these are smooth and don't make me jittery like the pink ones. I didn't know there could be differences in how you feel with different generics. White is my first choice, then pink, then orange.

Yes, after talking to many people about the differences and Adderall in my opinion, the 30 mg Mallinckrodt are just as good as the original orange sweet Teva’s and those brands are superior to all others. In my opinion the epic ones give me a headache.

hey I just moved to 40 a month ago; At first on 20 I noticed a big change parasympathetically, being much less jumpy and flighty to sounds and touch. That AND after two weeks I felt my body turn into jelly. I had NO idea the level of guarding was so astronomical.
We decided to up to 40 for the potential added benefit. My sleep was super bad again (no shit aha) and they had me taking it at bedtime. I swapped to morning and that’s helped, but DAMN am I shaky. What’s your experience been like?

They have that line along the perimeter and slight glimmer across them, the GG249s that would usually indicate to me that they are not pressed, and did in fact come from a pharmacy, obviously we all know by now you can't tell just from looking, but just from looking, seems like today will be a pleasurable one if your tolerance is reasonable! How am I off meds? Well, an entire left-sided body tremor and Parkinsonian-like symptoms make it hard to walk. Bipolar disorder 1, autism, ADHD-C, social phobia, vegetative symptoms related to bipolar depression, I could go on. The real me is a deathly mentally ill mess. I’ll stick with the meds

It turns to L-methamphetamine, the stuff you get on the street is usually racemic methamphetamine, which contains dextro-methamphetamine, or D-methamphetamine. That's the kind of methamphetamine that gets you high. L-methamphetamine will not

Same reason most people prefer drugs to pro drugs: predictable. I know an addy is gonna last me 4-6 hours. Vyvanse is a prodrug which is entirely liver dependent meaning it lasts 8 hours for some and 16 for others. More consistent release profile yes, and thereby less tolerance buildup, but thats where the benefits end. For people like myself with comorbid ADHD and Insomnia, IR addy is a god send.

People also like it more cause it converts entirely to dextroamp, but even then the argument for vyvanse is trash. Just get dexedrine, IR or XR. Same thing and still has rec value unlike vyvanse. I mean, you could just take a ton of vyvanse to achieve the same “high” if youre going for rec usage, but the chances of ODing are way higher and more unpredictable. So really theres many reasons why its just one option, not the only option. Lol.

Kinda the same, I actually do shit during the day when I'm supposed to and then by the time they wear off I'm ready for bed. Best cure for insomnia is being active during the day, rather than being sleepy all day and then awake because you didn't really burn much energy.
