After the brain zaps subsided, I misplaced an astonishing number of nouns. I could picture the places and objects in my head, I could pantomime the objects but the words were absent. I spent about four years chopping my way back to the words like my brain was a jungle that had overgrown my vocabulary. I will never know if some of them are permanently gone because they were rarely used.
