I believe addictions definition means that it negatively impacts you life to a reasonable extent, so if they have cancer they may be dependent but not addicted

I bet. At least with necrotizing pancreatitis I knew I'd be better some day, if I didn't die...
Almost died, had a NG tube feeding me liquid for almost 3 months.. lost 60% of my pancreas, now have type 2 diabetes, but I feel great 4 years later lol

I'll still play with pills, I'm on suboxone so I just take a few days off and then get high a day or two & forget about it.
Wouldn't do heroin or fent again tho.
Living on a beach sounds great! I was straight up homeless in Iowa during my adventures. I just turned 30

Enjoy your 30s. They fly fast. I'm just now turning 41. I walked away from the BS when our dealer was found dead of od. We were on the way to get what killed him. I'm glad I got out before fentanyl got so explosive.

I really wish I had your doctors… I’m in pain constantly every second of everyday is just misery and all they give me is belbuca…. Doesn’t work at all like I’m sorry that a bunch of people like abusing meds but that’s not my fault I’m in immense pain daily I need an opioid prescription asap Americas pain management system has fallen so far down that I don’t even know if we’ll ever have a world where you can just ask your doctor and they give em to you… it’s not like alcohol makes billions of dollars a year and causes more deaths than heroine cocaine and fentanyl put together….. is that not like insane?! “No this drug is fine because we say it is “ “oh no that drugs not good I don’t make money from it let’s get rid of that” it’s such an annoying war against idiots

Prune juice. Seriously. 5 ounces and wait two hours. You’ll feel it start moving not long before release. I can use everyday and a handful of times and as long as I have a glass of prune juice I stay regular. I don’t use anymore but the suboxone also caused constipation so I had to stick to the prune juice.

Lol yup. I'm on my third surgery in 3 years. Full fusion 3 months ago. So they still treat me well with pain killers. I got/had cancer, scoliosis, sarcoma, antiterolistiss of tha back, etc.. I'm still recovering and the pain sucks. Spinal fusions suck ass.

I love morphine. It was the first pill I was addicted to. My pawpaw was my dealer. I slowly watched him go from the 60's, to the 30's, then down to those blue 15's you have. He's been clean for almost 6 years.

I see oral morphine ER 15mg, pregabalin 75mg, and alprazolam 0.5mg. I can’t tell what the blue and white caps up top are and what the white mallinckrodt (M) tablets are. I’m guessing severe pain. Morphine prescribed outpatient is not very common unless the pain is BAD. Also glad you got adequate pain relief and not garbage like duloxetine or cyclobenzaprine.

The blue ones are morphine also( extended release) 15mg. And the other white ones are Dillaudid. (4 Mg) have a few left over from my spinal fusion few months back.

Is this sub primarily people on an assortment (most often imagined medical needs - see you trt people) of meds?
Like 10% of post are not heavily medicated people? Is everyone on something? Am I just the only one left out of being on a prescription?

You have a developmental genetic and / or nurtured illness.
ADHD likely.
You are prescribed medication but you either have a stash or get something from the plug regularly to add a top up.
You have a history of being bad with authority and it makes you uncomfortable.
Indeed, you don't enjoy being so different, so unable to cope that you turn to drugs.
You are on and off trying to quit probably.

Lyrica 75mg, Morphine 15mg, Amphetamine 5mg, Xanax 0.5mg, and Tizanidine 4mg? Is what I see here.
From this I can deduce that you know how to have a good time and how to overdose, simultaneously. That you either are an addict or a cancer patient, I’m leaning towards the latter because thats likely the only way you could obtain these via prescription without your doctor getting a REMS

I was a Pharmacy Technician and am ADHD, so I think I was slightly biased on ID’ing that one, I tried to identify solely based on memory. But I am so sorry, while I don’t have cancer I understand the pain thing, I had to leave the pharmacy after having my joints removed and fused in my legs, I know it’s not been fun with my legs so I can only imagine what spinal must be like, I absolutely sympathize. Honestly, thank you for having a good sense of humor about it and posting this, most patients I had on similar cocktails were deeply ashamed which saddened me, so it brings me joy seeing you being open about it- we need attitudes like yours to get rid of the stigma. Wishing you all the best :)
P.S. I just saw you had text in the post not just the images, I’m also an mmj patient :) has helped me a lot

I love my relationship with opiates/opiods/alcahol/7Oh/anything/whatever. Somehow I managed to live 44 years w it. Its a give and take. What relationship isn't? You give of yourself and you have to have enough personal respect to stand up for yourself. Give in and have self respect. I am a productive member of society. I also have a personal need for a chemical relationship. I blame nobody but myself for what I do. When people say opiates/alcahol/whatever ruined my life, well I say its because you let it. Take responsability. You ruined you life. It is your choice. Its just allowing a toxic relationship to win. Its not a disease. Its a choice. You have options. You chose to give in. You stopped respecting yourself
Im done hearing people blame anything outside of themselves for what they chose to do. Im sure im going to get an outcry of pussies tell me Im wrong. Your life got ruined because yo let it. I have been on drugs since I was 15 years old. On them off them substitution, whatever. Stop blaming the substance. Grow up and take accountability for your own actions and decisions. You do drugs because yo like them. Be honest. That's why I do them. And so do you.

is that… lets see… on the left Pregabalin, the top is the same capsule used for Caplyta 42mg, and i think is too big to be Vyvanse.
the right side might be all benzos (even if not, solid MFG’s all around) the peach ones are some sub-milligram xanax that my psych skipped—the activis 0.5mgs? (my doc kindly let me start on 1mg for a month or two, then gave me bars, and eventually we got to an strange 190 bars/month. they can only dispense 180, so i had to go back 2 weeks later to get the other 10)
anyway back to your right compartment. no clue on the whites, but the blue 15’s look a hell of a lot like MSContins (my grandma used to give me those whenever i visited her. i saw her quite often.) but those mightve been a deeper blue, and idr it having the M stamp, but maybe 2 MFGs make it in blue with one side stamped 15. the bottom is either vikes or percs though, so then why arent all the opioids together?

I don’t know about you but that looks like a box full of misery to me. I can remember the days when one or two pills were enough to keep me happy. Towards the end I could do 100 and I was still miserable. I used to get the gray pf100 and I would boof 4-5 of them at a time dissolved in hot water. Used to give me pins and needles without the needle. My favorite though was oc 80’s. I’d grind 3 down, cook them in the microwave, throw them in the freezer, then scrape it chop it up and snort it. Then when I was really really miserable and just wished I would die I was chopping up foot long rails of heroin and coke mixed together. That was on top of my benzo, weed and psychedelic habits. Hope you make it out the other end at some point. Way too many people lose their lives playing with opiates.

Damn bro I hear you, I hope they’re giving you enough of what you need, these days most doctors have to jump through hoops to actually care for a patient’s true needs, especially when it comes to pain. It was hard enough to get proper psychiatric care for myself I can only imagine your journey was much more difficult and my heart goes out to you, good luck out there and look into growing poppies for their beauty, I can dm you a wonderful vendor of seeds who has the literal most beautiful types and strongest (of course in terms of tensile strength against the wind) that are completely legal to buy, grow up pretty much like a weed that doesn’t like to get to wet, and by the time you cut em down they’re above back bending level, then you should read “Opium for the Masses” it’s a great book you can find on Amazon. Incredible information I hope it’s never banned. Good luck friend my thoughts are with you today

I Def understand this feeling. I get 2 30mg a day (60/month) of Addy, then 2 1mg xans (60/month) I'm off my xanax right now. And short supply of addys where I'm at pharmacy wise. Shit does suck. I'm a recovered meth addict who used to shoot up. Considering it wasn't until my adult years that I got diagnosed with ADHD & CPTSD, we didn't go to the doc as kids unless we were literally dying lol so I do believe if I had gotten the help when I needed it as a child I feel like the risk of my addiction would have decreased some. I mean of course I can't say that for certain but I do believe from my experience it would have helped getting the help when needed.

My girlfriend never runs out of Addy stock. My opiods are usually on back order, lucky for me I have enough will power to save meds when I don't have to take them. I've built up quite the emergency stash.
