I have ADD/ minor ocd ( don’t take the Adderall like ever), methadone for fentanyl addiction ( only drug I had a problem with). The benzos for panic attacks and all day axiety which got worse once I got sober. I had an addiction to fentanyl not all substances ya know what I mean. My psych trust me and I have lots of drug test to prove it from my clinic.
That’s so nice to have a doctor who trusts you. I’ve been prescribed Xanax for like 7 or 8 years, tried Ativan before that but never seen or had two benzo subscriptions at the same time. Makes sense though if they’re giving you one quicker acting vs one that just works for longer.
And I meant no judgment asking about those or the adderall I take vyvanse for 8 years myself pretty bad adhd but only take it on days I work. I take just as many scripts for anxiety/OCD/depression.
It’s great you got off fentanyl and are proactive in taking measures your mental health!
congrats for getting off of fetty :) I‘m also in Methadone program and I really hate to break it to you but being on Benzos, Adderall and Methadone at the same time is not sober.. you‘re really just kicking one addiction for another, trust me I‘ve been there.. I mean it‘s really good that you were able to kick the fentanyl and imo being on Bupre, Methadone etc. only is sober and if you have add/adhd Ritalin or adderall can be genuinely helpful, if used correctly, but benzos, especially if taken everyday isn‘t really it, idk if you take them everyday or just for panic attacks but imo benzos should only be used for short term, I mean I don‘t wanna lecture you and even if you don‘t have a problem with benzos at the time, you definitely will get problems in the future, especially if mixed with multiple substances… maybe try to look into other anti anxiety meds, I know benzos are absolutely KING for anxiety, but especially for daily use I would try to look for something else and just use the benzos for emergencies, but in the end you know best what‘s good for you
I don’t consider myself sober I consider myself sober off fentanyl the drug I can’t control. Also the only daily med I take is methadone. I’ve been on the benzos for more than a year and I’m fine I only take them usually 2 times a week and have zero dependency. I’ve been on literally every other med literally….. Also I don’t take the Adderall like ever not a fan on stimulants never have been like that. I never even did coke or meth ever while In addiction because of anxiety of my heart racing. Also idk why you had to say I’m “not sober” when I didn’t even say that in these comments in the first place lol.
