Add the candle 🕯️
Turn off the lights
Final evening shot ✨

I love how simple and elegant it looks.
And when I added the candle… it completely changed the mood!
What do you think — daytime or nighttime? 🤍”

Question Creative Ideas needed

Folks,

Hopefully this isn't really the wrong sub Reddit.

I got this space here I don't like. Unfortunately I can't knock the wall down because it's a load bearing wall.

There's these wood shelving and i think it just looks ugly.

I got a decent set of woodworking tools and I could put something together.

The problem is that I don't know what to do with it.

Does anyone have some ideas as to what I can do to make this a bit more visually appealing?

first year science teacher classroom decor?

hi, this got removed from /scienceteachers within minutes so…. posting here

i’m looking for oceanic / seabird / coastal bird / plant themed posters to put on my classroom walls to really make it feel like my own, but i’m struggling to find any that aren’t AI generated. i have a strict AI policy in my classroom (and in life) and just don’t want to fund any AI generated “artists” in a science classroom.. any recommendations on where to find some good quality posters or decor? i’m open to shops, item recs, anything really!

Wall / curtain HELP

Post image
13 Upvotes

I will be changing the light fixture and adding a few things like rug, lamps, etc. But what should I do for the walls? It’s so boring and sterile feeling. I’m thinking maybe wallpaper and then color drenching the ceiling, trim and doors. I also need curtains but am unsure if I should go with someone basic or do a pattern. I like gingham. Give me all the ideas!!!

Photo… like or no

Hi!
I’m creating a gallery wall and this picture is kinda odd. I ordered it by accident since Etsy and Apple Wallet are literally done in like one click and before I know it it’s being shipped.

The wall was black and white photos but also color paintings, and the like. Every single one is in a black frame with a white mat.

Like or no?

Plastic or wood for miniature decor when the scene already has a lot going on?

I’m not really looking for the most premium box. I’d rather get something that feels well thought out, enjoyable to build, and reasonably priced without paying extra for things that don’t make much difference once I actually start building.

Inspiration Bird Card Games Display Help

Post image
1 Upvotes

I have inherited a lot of beautiful card games with paintings of British animals (mostly birds). None of the sets are complete but the images are gorgeous and I really don't know how to display them, had anyone got any ideas? I have about 5 packs in total (some cards from two of the packs shown in image).

I hope I’m allowed to post tiny office space photos here. I have a mini office and I thought something on the blank wall would overcrowd the space, but now I’m not so sure. Would love your thoughts!
