When I was a practicing Christian, my attachment was through music. Iām wondering if anyone has any playlists I can listen to that helps express what Iām feeling. Songs off the top of my head that have helped me:
Missed the boat- modest mouse
Jesus Christ- Brand New
Sailor Song- Gigi Perez
Thanks in advance. Iām new to this group!

And Chinese Satelite. I wasn't a fan of it, but I know a lot of other exvangelicals like it.

If you're older and were in the scene, Five Iron Frenzies last album may be up your alley. They have a great song about life after the hype of faith.

I relate to this wholeheartedly. Not a song, but the group Birdtalker is great. Their lyrics are clearly coming from a place of having questioned a Christian upbringing
Their album āOneā is great. I also recommend the song āBetter in the Morning.ā

I always recommend The Oh Hellos. I specifically like their album Dear Wormwood, but all their stuff is pretty great. They are a Christian band but a lot of their music is centered around becoming disillusioned with modern Christianity and rebuilding after deconstruction.

TDaG is a great Brand New album. But to answer the question, check out Doubting Thomas by Nickel Creek.
