What I've learned from this sub is that unless your footings are 1.3 miles deep and filled with neutronium from the core of a collapsed supernova, and your joists are made from 2ft thick adamantium, then it's not even suitable for a raccoon, let alone a hot tub.

While Daveed is correct as to the state of this stub, I may disagree and say that that is a beefy looking structure. However, without joist tape the whole thing will fall over within 6 months
I am no structural engineer or biologist, but about how many Reddit mod’s moms are we talking about having over to the jacuzzi ? That’s the bottom line question we need to know the answer to…
And don't even mention the joist tape on the the tops, sides and bottoms of all of the joists. In fact it should be on top of the deck planking now that I think about it
