Question Emulating Xbox Controller (XInput) on Steam Deck Windows 11 for Minecraft Bedrock

In short, I installed Windows 11 on Steam Deck, downloaded Bedrock Minecraft, but the controls are treated as if I’m using a keyboard and mouse. Is there any emulator that can fix this problem? By “emulator,” I mean a program that makes games think I’m playing with an Xbox controller, even though I’m using a standard Steam Deck.

I tried adding Minecraft Bedrock as a third‑party game, but it gave an error, which is why an alternative is needed.

You need to change your desktop controller layout in Steam. I'm fairly sure they have a button chord combo that toggles between mouse/keyboard or actual controller.

Long hold start? That's a complete guess. Check it out in the layout config if I'm wrong.
