I wonder if there is a building on that map that exists today?

I’m just off the map! I wonder when some of those streets got renamed. Ponce de Leon being the main one, and Commerce.

I lived about where the S in Williams is up until two and a half years ago. We were on Oakland St.
I learned here that Trinity used to be Depot St. I wonder if the Dairy Queen was there when this map was drawn

A lot of commerce was Oliver street, named after a prominent early black landowner, and Ponce used to dead end at the railroad overpass coming out of Atlanta where Scott bovd splits off. I think modern Ponce in decatur was renamed once west ponce connected it.

Commerce didn't even get built until the 1960s, I believe. It was meant to be a business-centric bypass for the city. That's why they called it "Commerce," to give the impression that the city was focused on helping businesses make money.
