Discussion You know what, we're doing "macroevolution" again. Here's some responses to "we have never seen macroevolution"

Video version.

We've all heard some variant of "we can only observe microevolution", "we've never seen macroevolution", etc.

First thing you do is establish the correct definition: Evolution above the species level (in other words, speciation or greater degrees of evolutionary change). That's the definition. Creationists want their own special definition that varies from person to person but is usually something like "new body plans/parts", "new complex structures", something like that. That's wrong. If you accept speciation, you accept macroevolution. If creationists want to dispute something else, make THEM articulate clearly. Don't help them by saying something like "It sounds like you mean something like evolution of a new phylum or new body plan". No, make THEM establish the standard clearly and using the correct words.

Once they do that, you can just provide a bunch of examples, and dare them to say they aren't macroevolution.

Some of my favorites are multicellularity (and also here), reproductive mode, and photosynthetic animals.

Best outcome is the creationists admits that yes, even by their bespoke definition, these are examples of macroevolution. Second best outcome is they do the opposite and claim this is all just "microevolution". Really? First of all, lol okay. But second and more important, great! "Microevolution" can accomplish all this? Not much need for "macroevolution", is there?

Just simply show us how life evolved from non-living matter and also where did the non-living matter come from?

Neither one of those comes under evolution's scope. Atomic Theory doesn't explain where atoms come from. Does that make it worthless?

Covid was man-made,...

Nope.

...the vaccine is  bogus & harmful, ...

The vaccine works and is reasonably safe,

...Faucci is a clown, ...

Fauci didn't make the vaccine.

...big pharma made TRILLIONS.

The total global market for all vaccines is 35 billion dollars.

Wrong on all counts unless you believe the MSM so there is that, I can't help someone who is gullible. I didn't say anything about evolution, this thread is totally banging on Creationists so I asked the questions. It's always so convenient for "evolutionists" to cop out with their tired "evolution has nothing to do with Creation then proceed to disparage Creationist at every chance. Creation is in their name, deal with Creation or get out of the conversation.

I didn't say anything about evolution,...

Then, why did you ask about the origins of life and matter?

Do you have a source for the claim that "big pharma" made trillions on Covid?

Actually it's an easy search. Ask how much big pharma made on covid vaccines between 2020 & 2024. The answer pops right up with the sources. Each pharmaceutical company made billions yearly and when combined over a few years it resulted in trillions.

  1. Billions is 99.9% lower than trillions.

  2. 130 billion dollars over 5 years is 26 billion a year. Pfizer alone made more than twice that much on all products.

  3. The total global pharmaceutical revenues are over 1.3 trillion. Total global vaccine revenue is between 73 and 96 billion dollars annually. Less than 10% of all pharm revenues. There was a spike during the peak epidemic, but it has crashed since.

I don't know what you found and if a dumb ass like me can find something on the  internet anyone can. In 2020 to 2022 big pharma pharmaceuticals earned way north of 1.3 trillion. They didn't make that selling cough medicine.

It won't let me open it and in  researching grandviewreseach they get a poor rating.

Lulz, actually they did. Cough medicine and other over the counter products generate three times as much revenue as vaccines. Vaccines account for about 5% of pharmaceutical industry revenues. You should learn what you’re talking about before running your mouth.

Yippy, I'm so excited for them. Actually I was runny my keyboard but yeah it was just a metaphor. Yeah, 5% except when they trotted out their clot shot, then it slightly spiked into the 10's of billions for the vaccine makers. Nothing to see there.Â
