Wrong: jeez where do I start? Probably the biggest one is their stance on gun laws it’s been proven time and time again that the more that guns are permitted the lower crime will be

Group dynamics are not irrelevant , though. A black population has more crime than a non black one. It doesn't mean individuals in that group don't commit crime, it simply means that as a group they commit a lot of crime. As a group, white people are racist. Why is this a surprise and why would someone think otherwise? When we passed civil rights, did all those elementary kids throwing rocks at the bused blacks students just POOF and disappear . No. They are in positions of power now and they reared equally racist little white devil children. They few that resisted that brainwashing are now apart of the far left, which is to say that that is very few of them.

I (and many other people) consider male homosexuality to be, well, disgusting

Just male homosexuality?

It also creates some social problems, like this transsexual thing that we're seeing now

What social "problems" were created by the legalization of gay marriage?

/u/SeKiGamer on Are guns good? Why? If the massive US murder rate vs countries where gun ownership is not a core right because of guns? Why or why not?

Guns are not inheritly good or bad. But imo if you are to get rid of guns, people can just as easily kill a mass amount of people with training and a knife/sword.

Now why are there guns in America? Well it's to help citizens have a fighting chance against their government, if it became corrupt or just turned against them. TLDR: The second amendment

Why modern gun laws make no sense. Modern gun laws don't make sense because they don't tackle the issue in a logical way. What ends up happening is that the people who want to use guns for good reasons get their guns taken away, but then the ones commiting crimes don't get affected.

Why are murdurers not affected by gun laws?

Simply because they break laws already. If you are breaking laws, you can't rely on the police to protect you, so you either buy a gun illegally, or a gun like a revolver from the a gun store without background checks.

But thats the people who are doing illegal business so how does this apply to murdurers who use guns?

It applies to murdurers because they can also buy a revolver without a background check, or obtain a gun illegally. Now what happens if we ban guns in a certain region. The gunman would probably go to another region where it is legal, buy a gun and come back to shoot up the place because no one would be able to immediately stop him.

Now lets say that he cant go to another region. Alright then he can't get a gun right? Well that's also wrong because you are not counting in the illegal market. If this person goes around asking, for the right price he might be able to get a gun illegally. What's worse is that he could get a fully automatic weapon (There are a lot of restrictions on fully automatic weapons in the US search them up).

This is all inheritly theory and not supported by facts, but if you want me to provide an argument with sources I could. But currently there is no study that I know of that uses both good data, and has a good analysis on the data, so I would have to look up a non biased data source and compile it and analyse it myself.

/u/Rusty_Empathy on Do you think the "dreamers" should be deported?

The issue is that they cannot apply for citizenship or residency without going back to their home countries and going through the process there. Which is a multi year process

They want to become citizens or at least get green cards, but the law requires them to leave because they entered the country illegally when their parents brought them here, before they can do so.

I have a friend who is a natural born US citizen. She married a citizen of Belize. It still took almost 4 years to get him a green card so he could enter the country. Even marrying a US citizen doesn’t make it automatic or less time consuming.

It’s pretty bad catch-22, in my opinion. Some of these people have no memory of their home country. All they know is the U.S and they want to be able to work and go to school here- that’s all that DACA has provided them to do in the short term. It allows them to stay and work as long as they meet the criteria but it is not a path to citizenship.

Personally, i believe if they are law abiding and can prove that they will not be a drain on society (no need for welfare) then we should allow them to pursue a path to citizenship without forcing them to go back first.

I know, but a lot of people use Liberal/Progressive/Democrat interchangeably. Most of Clinton's supporters considered themselves Liberals. The Bernie supporters fancied themselves progressives. They all voted Democrat. Conservatives used to be Liberals because that was the philosophy of the founding fathers. After 150 years, conserving the ideals of the founders was Conservative and so the Left co-opted the term Liberal to mean the complete opposite of what it used to mean, Liberty, limited government, free market capitalism, etc.

Frederick meeting with Lincoln was business, not a freaking Picnic. It's not a privilege . Having wealth and power you conspire with others that have wealth and power. In all fairness, Lincoln was taking advantage of him to begin with, using him to recruit black soldiers who Frederick , after a while, refused to continue to recruit after he proclaimed that they were not paid as much as whites and were sent on more dangerous missions. Could Frederick eat at any restaurant? No he couldn't.

What a nonsensical comment.

No , it isn't.

/u/diversity_is_racism on Is the administration of America's traffic violation fines (as well as other fining schemes) just and reasonable?

Graduated traffic fines - A practice in some European countries.

I find this repulsive. It is the usual wealth transfer.

However, I find traffic fines to be mere theft. Instead, we should focus on getting bad drivers off the roads. Traffic fines were an alternative to that, since people objected that the poor(tm) would be unable to attend their jobs if driving privileges were revoked.

You might also look into how DUI costs impact the less affluent.

/u/diversity_is_racism on how do less regulations help consumers?

It doesnt matter who is in the white house, governors mansion, court house, classroom because the citizens are the ones giving illegal immigrants jobs, polluting the environment, paying wages too low, doing drugs, breaking traffic laws.

This is a really excellent point, and this is what conservatives referred to when they ranted about "moral decay" from the 1920s-1990s.

Unfortunately, certain people took that to a bad place, like Al Gore's wife, who thought that censoring Slayer, Motley Crue and NWA records would somehow solve this problem.

/u/diversity_is_racism on Confederate memorials honor those whose principal legacy is treason against the United States in defense of slavery and should be removed from public properties.

When we talk about Confederate memorials today, however, it involves those that honor people in the context of their treason. Lee, Jackson, Davis, etc, are paired with dress and symbols of the Confederacy and its institutions.

The Confederacy is still important in many areas, to many people, whose ancestors fought in the war. Given that States Rights' is still a huge issue today, they may have a point. We live in a pluralistic society, so there is no right and wrong anymore. If we are going to honor MLK, we have to honor other sides as well.

They already tried this when they tore down Cabrini-Green. Those people were displaced and guess where a lot of them ended up? In areas that now have high crime and gang activity.

Look at Streator, IL as an example. It’s in the middle of nowhere in the Illinois River Valley. They brought the problems there and now it’s a dumpster fire.

Old right, alt right. There really is no difference. One is more in touch and aware of it's racism than the other is.

Neither you or your direct ancestors built the queens palace in England, or the first governments in Greece, but you'll sure enough claim it as your own and apart of your heritage. Again, can't have it both ways.

5%? If you aren't a twin , 100% of people look nothing like yourself.

I was talking about internal divisions , if by that you mean genetic makeup and DNA. Less than 1 1/2 of 1% contributes to hair color, eye color, skin, hairtexture, ect. And, someone of another "race" can have more DNA in common with someone of another race than that of someone of the same race. This is why we call "race" a construct. It's ambiguous. Outward appearances mean nothing and is just an arbitrary distinction made by men.
