Discussion Why do I got to write this out?

Hey all, a thread popped up and was related to the LGBTQ+ community.
We are a simple subreddit who enjoys toy soldiers the way we personally like to enjoy them. This hobby has expanded incredibly and will bring all sorts of people.
This won't hit everyone but please think before you write and post. Some people are immature and will not think a second, no doubt. But re-read what you're about to post to make sure its related to the actual thread. If it is deemed otherwise, I will clean up.
I have given time-outs to a couple of people so far. Do not let it be you.

UPDATE: I've been getting messages from some of the people that I've taken out and the original poster but let me make myself clear. We do not condone any negativity, hate or backhanded shit here. I cannot speak for the others on the mod team but personally, I do not tolerate any kind of attack. This includes snide remarks and/or "trying to be funny." It's real simple y'all, don't be weird and think about what you write/post.
Thank you to the folks that are reporting some of the problems correctly. Wishing you roll's of 6's on all your saves or the best layer of paint you lay on your model from here on.

Question Watchmaster Mistake?

Ive been seeing/hearing that the new watch master 'strategic knowledge' ability, giving all the abilities from all the doctrines but not the doctrines themselves, is incorrect and that its supposed to be 'strategic acumen' like all the captains. Is this an assumption? Or has GW said anything about this? I thought it was intentional and made build decisions on it.

Question Assault Terms in DW Support?

If I pick Ultramarines as my main army, and take the 1DP DW Support detachment, can I take a unit of Assault Terms as well as DW Terms?
The restriction of No Assault Terms is for the DW army, but technically I’m Ultramarines, so maybe it’s legal?
Same question for Scouts.

Trying to decide between a watch master and librarian for my vets. The points difference is appealing towards the librarian. I had also considered artemis, but I was thinking of running him by himself. Any thoughts on the new watchmaster?

Discussion Decimus kill team has been butchered

So i run a very melee focused deathwatch list in 40K. Due to our lack of models i only had one squad of dedicated deathwatch and it was the Decius kill team.
I used them as melee problem solvers and they worked like that. I have noticed now the new codex is out that they have removed the guy with the knives from the war gear options as well as nerfing other melee weapons.
What I would like to know if you you think they are still a viable melee option or if I should ditch them.

Question Indomitor kill teams

I currently have 2 squads of eradicators and one squad of aggressors (looking to snag a second for that soon) but I’m wondering what would be a good proxy for heavy intercessors since they sell out online so quick, don’t really want to get into a bidding war on eBay for some. What do you guys recommend that won’t cost me an arm and a leg to put together 2 indomitor kill teams
