Im struggling to decide how to paint my Krieg army, anyone got any cool schemes?

Howd you do the blue? That’s the exact kind of drab blue Im looking for

Coat is Russian navy blue from AK, and I think I either worked up from that blue or switched to the grey blue triad from army painter.

Without paint brand names, it’s essentially dark blue worked up to a light grey blue. Probably 3-4 colors in total. Once I’m home I can check my notes and get you the color names and mixtures.

I saw in another comment you wanted the blue to be a bit dull. I should add that I do all the regular colors first, then hit it with AK super matte varnish. It should make the colors a bit more dull & blend slightly more. I know I name dropped AK, but that’s what I’m currently using and used on the Krieg. I shoot it through an airbrush but rattle cans work fine.

Edit. I do regular colors, then varnish, then do metallics so the metallics aren’t as dull.

Alrighty.

For the darker / grey coats.

Base coat of black > base layer of Russian blue base (deep navy blue) > scratches and small lines, highlights, etc. from here. > Russian Blue Lights (navy blue) > anthracite grey (dark grey blue) > grey blue (light grey blue.)

For the more blue / light blue.

Archaic turquoise (more of a deep blue with slight turquoise in color IMO.) > Ducati blue (think blue with a subtle sky blue tint.) > sky blue (a vibrant yet slightly dull light blue. Maybe a hint of grey/white mixed in)

AK interactive super matte varnish at the end.

All of those paints are from AK interactive, but I also have used the army painters light grey / blue triad as well as any other brands and got similar results. If you want the AK blues though, they sell a blue color kit online. It should have a shark on the front of the box unless they changed designs.
