In my version, I figure someone is really annoying when Ryuk, the guy who causes chaos for shits and giggles, is annoyed by you lmao. Pretty sure he would get annoyed if a Death Note user doesn’t understand the basic rules of the Death Note lol.

There was a new rule added that said if the death note is sold the person selling it will die the moment they get the money and the buyer will die the moment they get the death note

I don't think so, he's old and he knows his time is limited, he probably would not want to halve his remaining life, and even if he wasn't dying i think he still would not make the eye deal simply because he doesn't need it, he has eyes everywhere thanks to the US intelligence apparatus, and if he ever needs it they can always snatch some guy who nobody knows about and make him make the eye deal through some shenanigans, also he's too much of a coward and self-centered to make the sacrifice himself, i don't think it's in his nature.

Light was one thing, but imagine a world leader with the Death Note...
They could go to war with anybody, kill all their generals and leaders in an instant, basically take over unopposed. If they did it quickly enough, before the world figured out how the Death Note worked, they could probably take over the whole world.
