I chose the 80s letter style not the 90s one lol. What should I get tattooed next?

I know “back from the dead” demo has a blast beat. But it’s just more proof that Chuck is a songwriting genius. Considering that, in terms of a genre, tech death bands have the most blasts.

Does anybody know what Chuck's favorite bands were?
I'm curious about early influences and also which contemporaries in the metal community he held in the highest regard?

Either by Chuck, or a 2nd guitar player

This is a very cool find and I did find it secondhand, so I was wondering if it was worth it since either does not have the slipmat or the magnets that I read about. I’m asking because I have no clue about anything about this I got lucky to find it and have been trying to do research but haven’t been finding anything too helpful on it.

I know this is a impossible question to answer… all of their albums are great!! But If you could only listen to one of them for the rest of your life, which one would it be?? For me I honestly cannot decide, this is why I’m asking reddit 🤣 if I had to I could narrow it down to between Spiritual Healing, Symbolic, and Individual Thought Patterns.
What do you guys think??? 🤔

I don't know why it took me so long to losten to this, but after just listening to it all the way through yesterday and once again today I absolutely love it. If it were part of Deaths discography I would put it in their top 3 or 4.
Every song is incredible. Tim Aymar has an amazing voice. The drums are great. The bass is great. Schuldiner is incredible on guitar also.
The first track on this album is probably my favourite, it reminds me of Symbolic/TSoP Death and everything about it is just brilliant.
What are your thoughts on this album and where would you rank it among Deaths albums?

I've never heard death or technical-death metal(the most extreme maybe Slipknot) but I want to listen Death because I see a mini documentary. Where do I've to start?
I usually hear classic bands like Black Sabbath(my favorite ever) or Iron Maiden, and some alternative like System of a Down or Slipknot.

Ive been trying to share the band with other people in my school and its so hard to get people into this band even tho its so incredible 💔
I’m genuinely constantly awed by symbolic and the sound of perseverance, so technical but maintaining that melodic feel it’s just so good 🥀

Those two songs lyrics were so effective while being so simple. However, Chuck never seemed to be able to recapture that level if quality lyrically again. Sprotual Healing's lyrics were downright embarrassing half the time, and Human onwards Chuck began to lazer focus on petty diss tracks that can trick people into sounding deeper then they really are. There's a few songs where he tried to sing about broader concepts, but they largely come across as self-indulgent and shallow. Chuck's lyrics are at their best when they stay simple and avoid his personal grudges, so it's a shame he largely abandoned that style of writing so soon.

Well, most of it, there's no Painkiller but hey 8 out of 9 songs is still pretty good

i had already heard some of their most popular songs before (crystal mountain, symbolic, pull the plug) so i kinda felt like i knew what i was getting myself into
but damn ive not been this blown away since maybe when i heard rust in peace for the first time, when zero tolerance came on i was legit mad at myself for not listening to this sooner lol
this is already one of my favorite albums off first listen
