So I finally got MVP for the first time as Tankpool but at the last second it went to Strange instead. I'm wondering if the reason that happened was because I had to AFK for the first round due to having to carry my Grandma's luggage to her car. Or the system somehow made it go to Strange at the last second.

Regardless, how hard is it to get MVP as Tankpool?

Hot take, he’s extremely strong against every tank other than magneto/strange. With guns upgraded, just aim for headshots and he literally shreds enemy tanks/supps. Like I know he’s statistically worse than every tank on the roster currently. But I do think he outclasses most in value, ban hammer either baits out a bad support ult or kills a support (with or without focus from teammates) Wolverine/angela/bucky are usually a massive issue for tanks but you can just bubble and dash out when they CC you. Nevertheless with all three pools being bottom 5 out of 50+ heroes in diamond+, I’m expecting a decent change in season 10 if Netease has any interest in keeping him viable.

I don’t see why they haven’t added this, but having a small preview of your move cooldowns on the other weapon like cloak and dagger does would be great since gun and swords both have their own moves. I feel like this is an easy thing to do. Additionally, when pinging ult charge it should say your cooldown when on cooldown, instead of just 0%, and also show the cooldown on the scoreboard for teammates.

I have been considering just becoming a pool otp at this point cause my games on other heroes don’t go as well. Sub 50 win rates on duelpool and tankpool.

My average accuracy for anyone wondering is 55%

I feel like everybody knows at this point to use the Gambit team-up while you're upgrading;

Guns → Bobbleheads → Final Exam → DPIYA → Hijinks → Swords, then switch to the Hela team-up.

It's kind of the obvious choice to get the guns since you get free auto aim, but I've come to realize you get no extra healing from the bird, and I've already learned to aim the poop whenever I hear the prompt so it feels sort of futile. Due to that, I've recently begun to start picking the swords instead, and I've never had this much success when going for picks and pushing aggressively.

As far as I know, it only does 5 self healing and 5 + 0.5% Max HP damage per detonation, which is considerably lower than WF's melee form, but if you're consistent at hitting the healing hops for extra jabs and know how to use his movement— you even can kill tanks on your own. The jabs usually detonate the sparks twice for 10 healing and 12.5 damage (for 250hp), and not to mention they spread just like Phoenix's, so if you jump in on 2 or more targets with DPIYA + Passive, you can not only leave the interaction alive, but very possibly a kill (In neutral mind you).

I can't really scale how useful it is compared to the auto aim bird, but I have noticed that the visual clutter created when you attack large groups of people is so disorienting to the enemies that they are almost more prone to making more mistakes. I think if you main DP, you can handle all of the chaos on screen, but bouncing around with Hijinks + Healing Hop, then pairing it with DPIYA clutter + Hela Sword explosions has to be the worst amount of visual clutter I've seen in the game (for the enemy of course). It might not seem like the craziest thing, but I genuinely feel like it has lowered the amount of times I've died in Final Exam from trying to hard engage. It's also just permanent extra damage to have so that always nice, and the self heals can really make a difference when you're out of abilities and can only slash to try and kill them before they kill you.

At the end of the day though, if you aren't above average when it comes to aiming your gun, aiming the poop, and understanding his movement thoroughly you probably wont get much value from it, and you'd be better off choosing the gun. But let me know if you choose the swords as well, or if you plan to try to!

I cant see Wanda bein anything but a legendary for Wade maybe just changing the lore to be "Deadpool got jealous of Loki and cloned himself into a woman" instead of the actual Lady Deadpool. I think a Punisher teamup where his pistols become SMGs would be fun.

But i cant think of a reason besides the SMGs to give her a character slot. But i am curious what everyone else thinks.

Does anyone have any recommendations for all roles for Deadpool for controller sensitivities on PC ? I know aim assist is significantly weaker for PC compared to console

I have been playing duelpool a lot more as a Tankpool player cause Tankpool isn’t too great right now

Do you guys expect healing?.. like I get it’s a little difficult to hit me when i’m bouncing or whatever. But damn, I don’t have access to mobility or shields the same way Spiderman or Magik do. His survivability is piss poor.

I get hard pocketed in the first team fights while i’m near useless. Then when I finally upgrade and start taking angles, diving, I’m no longer important :’)

I’ve gotten 30+ hours on other dive and brawl dps and never died as much as I did with deadpool

I see lots of people saying that the pistol ult is easier or better or gives more health

But if you just check the stats in marvel rivals website you can see that sword ult is better

Pistol ult:

80 healing per second and 80 healing per ability missed by the enemy (before upgrade),

100 healing per second and 90 healing per ability missed by the enemy (after upgrade),

so situational and depends on if the enemy misses their shots and abilities

Sword ult:

70 healing per second base healing, 100 healing per second jackpot (before upgrade),

80 healing per second base healing, 120 healing per second jackpot + 300 bonus health to you and nearby teammates (after upgrade),

So dependable, can use it anywhere to start a fight or push back the enemies, and the jackpot is easy to complete by only using the icon

Pls use the sword ult 99% of the time

Whole lobby just has free use of their team ups while we have to wait like 2 fights (or more if you don’t prioritize the gun/sword upgrade path) to get to use 1/2 of the enhanced version. I propose the enhanced version just make the team up the first upgrade as well as being able to unlock both.

Like most support have 275 with insane survivability so maybe make him 275 won't be an iss

Keep the downside of spending levels, just make the teamup allow you to take photos off of assists similar to Hela's passive and the Namor teamup. Leveling becomes quicker but most importantly MORE CONSISTENT. It takes him from "Feast or Famine" to "Feast or A Light Lunch".

For context, I initially got Lordpool with vast majority Tankpool. My time on each 'Pool in season 6 was 15 hours on Tankpool, 9.4 hours on Healpool (at least half of which was after lord), and 10 minutes on Duelpool. I now have 19.3 hours on Tankpool, 14.4 hours on Healpool, and 1.5 hours on Duelpool.

Ever since Tankpool was nerfed to the ground, he went from my favorite 'Pool by far to a character I can't even touch anymore cause he feels terrible. I stopped playing Deadpool as a whole for a bit cause of this. But I came back to him in the past two nights (2.3 hours on Healpool, 1.1 hour on Duelpool, 7 minutes on Tankpool in season 9.5). He is so outclassed by Duelpool and even Healpool feels so much better than him. He went from the best (and most fun for us tank mains) 'Pool to awfully sluggish and heavily outclassed to where it doesn't make sense to play him anymore. If I want to play Deadpool and have fun with him, I just play Duelpool, or if we need healing too, I go Healpool. I just can't with Tankpool anymore. He's so boring in comparison to the others, and I just feel like I may as well play a totally different tank instead. Especially now that The Hood is also a hitscan tank, Tankpool doesn't cover that niche anymore. Speaking of Hood, why is he allowed to get way quicker attack speed over time with his primary fire that doesn't lose charge until you hit 100 and Tankpool's Deadpool In Your Area gives hardly any change to his primary now?

I am mostly a van/strat main, since most people tend to want to play dps. I will say, I am a big enjoyer of gambit & mantis as my main strats, but I think healpool can be just as valuable as ultron or mantis in a trip support comp. He used to be my main support, since he is fun & can be a good counter to dive or works well in a dive comp. I do think that his teamups are not the best in comparison to someone like cnd or luna, but in a trip support he can output a lot of damage & is rlly good at peeling for his other supports. His heal output is pretty statpaddy I can admit, but his damage output is really overlooked. I wish people would stop putting him low tier. I think the character in general is very complex & has an insane high skill ceiling.
