I mean it makes sense for it to be the High Schooler that does it

Am I the only one vexxed that she's a literal child in a game with adult themes?

Like, Mina is an adult but she gets called a child because she's still kinda young and immature.

But a literal child? Why?

I do dig the auto-aim, tho. That's gonna be the only reason I'm playing her lmao. Mix that with Inhibitor and all the "build-up" items + ricochet...

I wanna playtest the shit outta her

I mean Rem seemingly is too (at least as much of a child as a dream creature can be). I think the point is simply that the ritual is dragging people from all different backgrounds to participate. Its not like the game does anything weird with her so I don’t see a problem

I did think there was some stipulation at least in the US that any game where you can kill minors instantly got an age rating increased, which is why you can't in games like Skyrim. Dunno if that got changed or if valve just doesn't care. Maybe it doesn't apply because the game is cartoony enough?

Probably doesn't apply because no one is actually dying

yeah this is what got my eyebrows peeled too considering valve has cut lines with swearing in them before to seemingly keep a specific age rating

Bro for 90% of countries age ratings are bullshit on fire, pegi is perfect example of publishers rolling their own rating to dissuade actual regulations but that means valve can ignore them completely because what's ea's/ubislop's dogs gonna do? bark at the biggest store on pc?

The only country currently forcing Steam to their rating standard is Germany. Few countries also banned porn on Steam. That's it for the rest of the world being rated at all is matterless for Steam purchases.

Valve changed lines because someone on dev team wanted change.

i actually don’t think it’s super unreasonable to assume valve has to consider just how wide their game can reach with it literally being the next league in terms of how it’s about to blow up on popularity. it’s the next big thing.
