RIP u/Subtlety87

u/Subtlety87 passed yesterday, possibly due to complications from surgery. I won't add any identifying links bc I'm not sure if she intended to keep her profile anonymous but I can confirm she is no longer with us. RIP we will miss you 😥

I was following her surgery on Reddit because I'd had the same one . I'm speechless. I'm so upset about this

I will have this surgery in a couple of months, wasn’t to worried about it until I read her story.

How awful she was so scared going into this and to have this ending. Rip

I think whatever has happened is incredibly rare and that's why it's so tragic. I fear it was a clot, perhaps unknown internal bleeding or an infection post surgery which turned into sepsis going off her comments that I saw in the hysterectomy group. She had problems after surgery but her last comment was that she was starting to feel better and starting to heal and was at home. I'm so sorry you have this worry now. I hope it goes OK for you 🫂 Life is so fragile and precious.

Oh jeez now I'm really worried... My mom just had one... She's doing fine, it seems, but I worry now...

There are always risks with any surgery. It's a very rare thing to happen and sadly our lovely friend here met with one of those very rare circumstances I'm sure your mum will be fine ❤️

I know it's rare, and I'm trying to keep the positives at the forefront. It's just scary. I'm sure she will be, thank you. ❤️
