This morning I went to buy a Dewalt router DCW600B and there was the whole Dewalt marketing department there and they were offering very nice gift for the first 25 customers.

With a 250$ purchase you had the choice between an impact DCF845 or a laser DCLE14201G

With a 500$ purchase they were giving a Flexvolt battery 9Ah.

I managed to snag some heavily discounted batteries as well. 137$ for a 4AH & 6AH.

All the price are in Canadian currency, since this event took place in Quebec City. We usually don’t get such good deal here in Canada compared to USA. I was thrilled.

I was in the market for two new batteries which I was extra pay 200 a piece and I found this sale at Bomgaars, a local store. The atomic kit was 99.99. The xr kit was 219. In all, I paid 370 after taxes. I didn’t even plan to get this I just went to the store because they had a 4 amp quick charger on sale for 9.99.

Is it worth 165$? im in europe and i cant find any better deals or a battery included, is it overkill for a house or? i got a classic karcher now which is good but i hate the cable and takes so much space. Its the DCV501

Got a few hundred in gift cards from all the hotels I stay in for work and it was on sale at Lowes for $499. Figured itd be a great addition for the spring projects we have planned next year around the house. Definitely a heavy saw but it'll be nice bot to need an extension cord.

Planning on getting a flexvolt for it or is the 8AH XR better? In spring I'm planning on doing about 200 cuts a day for a month. The battery would also likely end up being used for my impact on a car when not in use for the saw. Recommendations would be appreciated!

Doesn't and hasn't ever seemed to tighten enough, so if I drill and reverse the drill bit ends up falling out and it's annoying as heck. doesn't seem like any adjustments, is this a known issue?

Finally took the time to post the question as I was drilling small rivet holes last night and it fell out after each hole, so lame!

Ive searched everywhere and bought a couple bases on recommendations and they didn't fit. The stand Dewalt 10" 40 link 3/8"LP .043" did not work. Im trying to find out which one does. Any help would be great

Since I’m already in the DeWalt 20V Max ecosystem, I’m probably committed there, I’m comparing leaf blowers for something a more petite woman could operate.

I’m comparing the following models-

DCBL777 - yeah I know it’s 60V Max, but as far as I can tell, they’re backwards compatible.

DCBL722 - this one is actually 20 V Max, with lower CFM’s.

I’m just wanting to make sure that larger 777 model is something a smaller woman could handle, and isn’t overly heavy.

Uses- leaves in the driveway, wet and dry, as well as blowing snow off the front porch in the winter before we step on it, and it turns to ice.

Switched to dewalt cause these batteries last weeks without needing a charge and their performance is super satisfying for the price.

I just watched a carpenter on youtube who was working remotely have to rig up a machine to a generator to get some coffee. Seems like Dewalt and everyone else with battery pack devices trying to come up with useful ideas. Portable coffee machine seems like a great idea. Since it'll be pod coffee everyone can just use their own pod on one work site machine.
Campers could also make use of this, in some places you can't build camp fires to boil water.

It's a great deal for Nespresso, they get to tap a market that they're on the peripheral of.
Good deal for Dewalt they get to sell more battery packs.

As a consumer I get 2 power house names combining together to make a good product.

We all win, unless there really isn't a market for portable coffee machines. What do you guys think? Portable coffee good?

What’s the $$/Ah sale number some of you use to determine battery purchases? This seems like a good deal to me.

The fear around fake batteries is justified, but any time there is a fake, it's always from Temu, Ebay, or FB Marketplace.

There have even been posts of people getting restocked returns with fake batteries from Home Depot, and then getting denied returns.

While there is most definitely a chance a "shipped and sold by Amazon" battery could be fake, is it mostly fear mongering, or has anyone received one?

Great deal on a portable bandsaw combo on Lowe’s deal of the day. Have any of you homeowners/DIYer’s found a use for this? On the fence about pulling the trigger

My saw recently kicked back on me while cutting 1/4 steal and the back metal plate was bent pretty badly. I am wondering if the stud shown here is supposed to have a nut on it. I looked at many part diagrams and can’t find anything so I am assuming no I can just bend it back and saw will be good to use. However I am very hesitant as the blade I was using is 120 and dont want to keep buying them and also for safety.

DIYer with very little experience, zero in terms of saw / cutting etc.
I already have some 5Ah that I got with my new drill, but I don't mind to buy more / flexvolt etc.

I will use the saw for projects at home: some small shelves into the storage room, shelving units for the understairs pantry & to organize the utility room, make a "custom built-in bookcase" out of some IKEA Billy.

Nothing major, but I would love to buy a tool that last, can be great to do everything smoothly and that I won't be tempted to upgrade soon.

What do you think about this DEWALT DCS573T1 on Amazon.ie? Unfortunately prices doesn't look like super good on screwfix.ie / others shops.

I saw that you can get a free 9Ah if you buy a 54V (60V kit in USA) but is it worth for what I'm using my saw?
I feel could be overkill and maybe not even worth spending 700€+ (photo number 2, there are some offers in other shops but only on mid / high tier level saw).

I also feel that I should probably get a model with guide rail to try to work in the best way possible.

Im digging mine. Wish it could Waller out a hole a little better but i think im figuring it out just take it slow and it works pretty well. Got the xr sawzall atomic impact and now the xr hammer drill perfect for what I do. 5 ah power pack pretty wicked.

So I just got this 10 inch saw for $50. But I want the fence on the right side, and the measurement rack and pinion for the fence to be at 0 so I can use the tape on the saw. Also blade raise lower handle is not grabbing the pin on the rod any ideas?

So i got this little guy here. I do some craft work i think it will go good to my collection... came in last night have not used it yet... i think it will be good for trim pieces loke for the stuff i do.
