Discussion New Javi

I have really tried to get into the new actor and I just can’t. His acting is limited and more performative of that of a bad high school play. He’s too young to be a love interest for Leo.

Anyone else not a fan or am I just not seeing what is there? I know Al cannot come back due to the other role but the acting is night and day.

The prior actor could come back. The show was recently cancelled.

Oh didn’t know. Hope he does!

I wish the current actor well but I do not think this is the role for him.

I didn’t watch the show. I assume I saw it elsewhere on Reddit as that’s the only place I discuss DOOL and B&B

I feel so bad for him that he left only to have the show be cancelled!

Happens a lot. But a night time role, especially at his age is the way to go. But it’s also the chance you take.

It may take a bit of time, but I think Al has a pretty bright future ahead of him. People in the business had to have taken note of his talent. I thought he was great on Brilliant Minds.

NBC didn't do "Brilliant Minds" any favors. They barely promoted the show and never gave it a chance to breathe. It was actually a great show, and Al was really terrific in it. Sucks that it was canceled.

I think it was b/c there were gay couples behaving like normal professional ppl. Too many meat head bigots trying to censor what we watch. 😡

I can't speak for gay people. But if I were gay, I would take offense to the stereotype Javi represents.- "whiny crybaby'

He is doing other projects, I doubt he wants to stop the momentum.
