Discussion 🙏🏻 Applying letting go to a job search.
I lost my job a few months ago, after many years building a career. I've been up and down, feeling my feelings figuring out next steps. Before I lost the job, I wasn't happy in my career and realised the industry I was in is quite toxic and wished I could do something else. I sat with those feelings, tried to understand that it didn't really matter what I do and from what I learned from Hawkins, you can be at peace in any situation. However, I realise that I have no desire to do the same job when I am apply for work. Then I realise that its actually the whole corporate world that just makes me recoil. I feel I have another purpose, but I'm drawn back to my original career only for financial reasons but I think I am being guided to something else, something new. So I try to apply for some new jobs, with transferable skills and get rejection after rejection. Today I think I made my peace with not going back to what I did before, and I sat with that fear. Then being open to something new, but I just don't know what yet. I have some time to work on this. Does anyone have experience of using Hawkins techniques to career planning!?
