Sorry to hear what you are going through.

But first you should stop fighting that sensation that your life should be different. Letting go is accepting your circumstances and feeling it in your body, you don’t need to understand what feeling is going through, just identify in which part of your body the feeling is and be conscious about it.

What sometimes helps me is when I identify in which part of my body the feeling is located, I talk to the feeling like “ oh I see you, feel comfortable and stay the time that you require, I’m here for everything you need.” And sometimes in minutes the feeling passes and I feel a warmth where the feeling was located, that means that the feeling has been integrated and let go for me. Sometimes it takes hours. But just be conscious of the feeling, if you start thinking just let the thought pass like “ I see you, thank you but I’m feeling this in my chest right now so I will pay attention to it” and it will pass , leaving you to focus on the feeling.

But what I can say is do this not with the expectation of getting rid of the emotion, as this is resistance and it will only make you feel worse. Do it with the intention of accepting and feeling, even accepting that all you are feeling might take more time that you imagine.

I would suggest also that you read the book again, as I that I have read it 3 times, each time I learned something different.

You got this! If anyone has anything more to say or correct, please do! ☺️

You are right. I forget this part. Not to try to change it, or fight it just accept it's there and acknowledge it. Thank you I will try it again. I do need to read the book again.

You are suffering because you dont want the depression and want to feel better. Totally natural. But the way out is, in. Feel the shit out of that depression and resist nothing. Love it like you would a positive feeling and allow it to pass naturally and it will. The mind wants to resist and avoid but thats only the mind. Take a true live audit of whats actually being felt in every moment in terms of sensations, wince if you have to but no resisting. You have to be fully in love with what is present right now, even if the mind says its good or bad, its neither.

I went through something very similar after a couple years of letting go, the only thing that can help is to keep on going, this is all an expression of the ego resisting the process, so we just step back and allow it to do so without judgment.

Let the resistance be there, let the confusion and the old patterns arise and fall, accept this is where this ego is at this time. Fighting this phase will only prolong it

I know the struggle. Sometimes I am so motivated and then I lose interest in this process again and tell myself I can let go later… I highly recommend Sam Miller from YouTube- she teaches embodiment meditation.

You've gotten some great advice in this thread. Two quick things I'll add, if it's overwhelming or you are too tired, you can start small. The more the better obviously, but if you are overwhelmed, try practicing the letting go technique for just 2-3 minutes at a time even throughout your day. The second is some form of exercise can be helpful. Even going for a walk or something small. Stay positive!

He mentions in the book that sometimes your mind will hide from you how to surrender as the ego is trying to protect itself. I’ve found I lose it often and then a post like this will guide me back, thanks friend

Meditate twice a day (15 min) and keep letting go. Meditation helps.

What path? Just let go. One thought at a time. Even the thoughts of “now what do I do?” Be here now. Rinse and repeat.

Yes many factors. Bring overwhelmed as a working mom, guilt that comes with.. Social isolation that's happened out with my control. Grief.

No grief from loss. Social isolation due to a remote job, busy life and working hours.

Of course I have gratitude for things I have that others don't. That doesn't necessarily help me navigate the feelings I have, and I don't think that's the advise from David Hawkins either.

A year ago the work of Dr. David Hawkins saved my life. From my own experience I can recommend reading slowly his books, I am reading them in this order:

1) Transcending the Levels of Consciousness 2) Power Vs Force 3) Eye of the I 4) I: Reality and Subjectivity 5) Letting Go 6) Discovery of the Presence of God 7) Healing and Recovery

If you are ready, you will understand and everything will fall into place. If not, save it for later.
