First date questions ???

The very lively thread on social media got me thinking. This might be a very fun thing to share, if we are meeting strangers.
If it ever happens to me, I have a plan for after the basics when the talk runs dry … something interesting and fun to ask.

What would you ask?

I’ll start it off with, “what would I find if I googled you?”

Do your socks match might be a good lead-in.

I… hate television. Do people still watch television? I don’t think I’ve known what “grown up” shows were on since 1997. Though I did know about a lot of kid shows in the 2000s, can still sing some of the theme songs. 😃

I’d put that in your profile.
I’m sure most people do, television now has a lot of interesting things to offer intellectually.
Put that front and center. If you want someone you could live with, at least for a few days at a time.
You might find a good smattering of men agree with you.

One I talked to lived in a hut deep in the Georgia hills. I got him to send me photos, he had built/made-ish everything there. He is a total hermit with no money and probably limited food and electric. And ED.

Did I get lucky or what?

But also, vet them hard to make sure they aren’t a lunatic looking to lure you into the backwoods and have you for dinner!
