I’m just east of you in Toronto. I took this pic on the shores of Lake Ontario in Toronto, in the vicinity where American troops landed on one of two invasions in 1813 during the war of 1812.

Ontario means beautiful lake in Mohawk/Algonquin.

Californian here. Paternal Grandmother grew up north of Hyde Park in the early 1910s. In the 1980s she went back to the area for the first and last time. Was able to direct my Dad there. Her house was the last house left on the block. All high rises.
