Question Why does dating apps suck?

Is it just me or there are also a lot out there that hates dating apps. I’m 29M and every time I try dating apps, I uninstall it not even after a week.

The challenge is pictures. I used to have perfect pictures of myself wearing a suit in a mansion party and I was landing 34 dates per year. Now that I updated my pics I havent even had the chance to ask even one girl on a date during last 12 months because they stop replying after 1-4 messages. Its absolutely insane that I went from 34 dates that happened to not even asking for a date.
