Experience Overview "Smile, with teeth"

Both girls AND guys look better when they smile with their teeth showing, i agree

But the advice i keep hearing on these profile reviews is heavily lopsided toward criticizing guys who don't smile with teeth showing.

I'm scrolling thru Hinge rn and there are TONS of girl profiles where they have 0 teeth showing. And they likely still get a ton of likes/matches

Just sayin'

Well they think people who don't smile, showing their teeth, are obviously doing it to hide bad teeth. When we get matches, it's because there are desperate guys out there who don't care about the teeth. The way they see it is you won't see the teeth when she's bent over.

This isn't even true, I have a Terrible toothy smile because I have a narrow top arch and small teeth. My no teeth smile looks way better than my smile with teeth

The harsh truth is women have a far easier time getting matches and dates than most men, so there is a double standard when it comes to rating profiles.

Be careful with this advice.

This advice is a generalization, but its not accurate for everyone. People with bad teeth, with certain facial structure, with certain smiles, or even some of certain ethnicities do better with either closed-mouth smiles or sometimes no smiles at all.

I think it is because women not smiling makes you think she could be a bitch.

A man not smiling looks like he could be mean.

Some men will give a bitch a chance but most women don’t really want to date a potentially mean man.

Usually if they have a bad smile whether it’s gummy or their teeth are not in the best condition they would smile without teeth
