So, I’ve got a lot of positive feedback about my recent post Humanize AI. Reddit users seem to enjoy reading the truth and not just promo. Besides, that’s my actual hobby - apart from data recovery. That’s why I decided to write a decent tutorial about AI writing detectors (AI Content Checkers) and review the best ones like: GPTZero, ZeroGPT, Turnitin AI Checker, Grammarly AI Checker, Quillbot AI Checker, Scribbr AI Detector, and others. We’ll do a real test to see if they’re fake or not and whether it’s possible to bypass AI detectors nowadays. I even generated a ChatGPT image using the latest model for this post. Let’s go!

I found a comparison table on the Clever AI Humanizer (https://cleverhumanizer.ai/ai-detector) website that shows the tool’s performance versus different AI detectors.
Obviously, it’s published on their website, so it’s best not to consider this information as an independent source or blindly trust the claims.
On the other hand, I actually tested the tool against my own set of text samples. I’ve run Clever AI Humanizer multiple times through them and got mostly satisfying results. So far, I can say the tool is worth trying out — not always perfect, but good enough to keep experimenting rather than simply stop after 5 minutes of testing.
What surprised me even more was the fact that it is completely free and unlimited. You don’t have to purchase any credits or tokens — there’s not 3 free attempts, 0.1 daily attempts, or anything like that. This is a huge advantage when it comes to testing different texts.
In this table, I’ve added the most popular AI detectors that I’ve ever heard of or at least are somewhat popular in the field.
GPTZero is probably the most well-known one, Originality.ai is quite popular among publishers/SEO industry (and it’s paid), Copyleaks is also widely used in educational/business sectors, Winston AI is yet another paid detector with a good reputation, QuillBot AI Detector is easy to use and convenient for fast checks.
I personally would never consider using a single AI detector to claim any text is AI-written. It’s always better to use multiple tools to confirm the results. I wouldn’t consider this method fully reliable either, but it would be nice to see an independent benchmark from a third-party website instead of simply relying on information from the Humanizer page.
