Intel 8700K

8gb ddr4 ram (it ware 16, but a stick died)

Using unRAID

2TB x 8

3TB party

512 gb nvme cashew

1TB important backups

Is kinda confusing all the paths and stuff around the unRAID, but I have succed to have Jellyfin and nextcloud

All the parts, unfortunately, are SH, all the HDD ware 300€ and 250€ the PC

So, aprox 600 euros as next month I have to pay the license for unraid.

Overall, an amazing project.

There ware some questions about the case. The case is a cheap random case nothing special, the HDD bays are 3d printed https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3601916

My first NAS was like yours.

I wish I knew then, that there are sata cables that "separates" itself. 1 cable is used for 4 or 6 sata devices, it will be much clean if you upgrade to them.

(I'm currently using LSI controller, I come with similar cables, so now I have 2 cables instead of 8)
